  1. Last night the site apparently migrated to a new server that is secure. The new address is https: instead of http: I think that is all that changed.
  2. I have always liked this marble . . . it's sort of like MK's version of an American Agate.
  3. Tricolors, as simple as they are, still look nice in a group . . . Has anyone ever seen a typical Tricolor where the equatorial ribbons are not blue and green, is it only the patch color that varies? I guess I have seen purple and yellow, but they're pretty unusual.

    Big Slag

    I'm thinking MFC.
  5. Just FYI, the pattern on Cairos is usually limited to one side of the marble and transparent striping is usually bubbly. Also, be sure to check out the "Mostly Pics" threads in Steph's Study Hall section of the forum for examples. ๐Ÿ‘
  6. DId you notice I edited my previous post to say that I think Cairo might be a better bet for that 3rd one? And yes, that wandering "puzzle piece" sort of pattern is not uncommon on Cairos or Heatons.
  7. The last one is often referred to as an MFC tornado - for obvious reasons.
  8. Maybe, Alley, but I could see Heaton too.

    Copperhead??

I don't think it would qualify as a Copperhead.
  10. This is a dandy marble!
  11. Left looks more Ravenswood to me and the right might be Cairo or Heaton.
  12. I'm thinking a Peltier Citrus type.
  13. Me too! They really knew how to put color in a marble!
  14. Nice slag, Dave - clean as a whistle!

    Vitro?

Maybe a JABO Classic? If not, then an odd Vitro, I'd say..
  16. It's a Vitro Tri-lite - weak on the yellow.
  17. Things can look quite different for marbles with opaque striping and those with transparent striping glass, like the last one you showed. BTW, what size is that marble?
