I don't remember it - really great colors on that one!

That's a nice group!

@cheese This is a great addition to the Vito thread, very cool - thanks for posting it!
-
A few more . . .
-
@cheese Great story - sounds like Don, for sure. I had heard about the sulfides but had not seen hide-nor-hair of them until now. The fact that you have one in and one out of glass is pretty neat. Couple of nice Vitros there too - I'm really liking that Cosmic Rainbow.

Is the green transparent?
-
-
I'll bet you're thinking of a "Sprite", which is yellow and white in a green transparent base, I think.
-
It's a Pelt Rainbo, but I don't think I see an opalescent base, which should show an orange glow when backlit not too brightly.

And it's a nice one!

The "Score!" thread. Post your exciting finds here...

Nice finds, Melissa. Those baby blue ones are hard to find without fractures. -
More colors than you normally see on a Conqueror, which is why I think it might be a weird Tiger Eye.
-
The blue one might be Ravenswood, the other could be Heaton or maybe Alley, IMO.
-
It's a Vitro but not a Vitro Opal, IMO. From these pics, it looks a bit more like a Conqueror or Tiger Eye variant.
-
Of course, Al would know - thanks for the info and nice examples, Al!

It's understandable how the Vitro B® and the Pelt got sorted together. The base glasses are distinct, for sure, but they are also pretty similar considering they are coming from different manufacturers. I like them both.
-
I don't look for them but I think this is only the second Pelier Rainbo Cross-through I have come across in a lot of years (if you call it a Cat's-eye, some old-timers will roll-eyes at you 🙄) . . . . . . just FYI. 🙂
-
Yes, the first is still a Vitro, maybe late Trilite era. The second is still a B® and the third is a Peltier Rainbo with what many would call a "muddy" type base - looks grayish-brown on my monitor.
-
Less common Type III Tiger Eye, I think - veneered with two polar patches of different colors and two equatorial white ribbons.

That is random, and funny. lol
