  1. Cairo is my first thought - I think they did make a few big ones.
  2. Not a Pistachio, but I think it's probably still an Alley, just a little unusual.
  3. It does look foreign. Vacor seems like a good possibility to me.
  4. Here is the October 2008 Tric Trac article about the Billes & Traditions Company translated from the link I posted earlier . . .
  5. Looks like a Rainbo to me.
  6. Fun bunch of marbles, but there's an Akro contaminating your swirls!
  7. That is pretty weird.
  8. The marbles shown in the article remind me a little of the Svenska Stenkulors but they appear have a final glaze or treatment of some sort. Yours don't look quite as glossy.
  9. Very cool, Fire! Here's an interesting little article about them. You may need to translate from french. Apparently the company opened in 1998. https://forum.trictrac.net/t/article-billes-traditions-la-vraie-bille-en-terre/195137
  10. Newer All Red variants, iMO - they can get kind of crazy at that size.
  11. Nice colors on some of those. The pattern on the last one is really nice.
  12. You may be right about a double ingot, but there is usually still some sign of the interface between the two ingots, even if it is all smoothed out. And I'll have to get into the archives and see what I can find - is a row 5 marbles or 6? 🙂
  13. I get the feeling that your photo is a little bright so it's hard to tell from these pics. But it does have that "mottled" look that you often see on oxblood so . . . ?
  14. Pretty sure that's one of those Horizontal Lathe Swirls - sorta like a Navarre, but wood.
  15. Those are pretty marbles - it doesn't take much to go from swirls to two seams or vice versa.
  16. Dang, look at the pontil on that marble!
  17. @akroorka This is why I don't think it's a double ingot . . .
  18. And cateyes isn't a word so . . . ? Al is correct according to Webster's but I'm going to use Cat's Eyes anyway, because I really don't care.
  19. I ask because the Pixie Dusts are the only MKs I have seen with that type of blue AV. Thanks for this, Melissa. I have not seen them before and they are pretty cool marbles! Do you have any idea when they were made or how rare they are?
