Just a Rainbow with a big cold roll and really nice bright pink. This one is just shy of 7/8". Is the pink common on marbles other than the "Berry Pinks"? I'd like to see more examples of pink on MKs so please show them if you have them.

I agree with Andrea, although at 3/4" it's a nice size and the bit of green makes it a little more interesting too.

My bad, Steph. I probably shouldn't have asked for the pic, but I do appreciate you showing it. One of the things that makes me lean Master on Duffy's mib is that large patch of dark color. I've never seen similar on an orange/blue Akro. But I've seen it on several I think are Master . . . might change if I saw it in hand. And thanks for the discussion, Chuck. I always appreciate your insight.

Steph, Do you have a pic with Clownfish that look similar? The ones I've seen don't look like that. But then, I surely haven't seen them all and there's always that outlier issue. And look at the orange peel on the one I posted.

I have seen what I believe are Master blue on orange patches. They look different than Akros to me. In particular, the orange color. But I am no expert either. The colors are great on yours, Duffy. I think this may be a washed-out version.

One of these days, I'm going to have to start paying more attention to Marble Kings. I've got a bunch that I haven't looked at in many moons. Someday, I'll have to post some of the more interesting ones and see what I can learn.

Dang these patches, the more I look, the more I see a Comet. The colors just don't look Akro to me.

I've been waffling over it for so long . . . if it's there, it's definitely in the patch. They're pretty distinctive marbles. Do folks call these anything other than P&Rs?

Orange and blue is always a great combo. Is it Master?

Hi Folks, I think I remember hearing that there were no Peltier Rainbos that show a "uranium-green" glow under UV. Although I am pretty sure I have a feathered Peltier slag with a vaseline base around here somewhere. Are there any other Pelts that show that type of UV-reactive glow or are they all thought to be Kokomos? Any thoughts about this?

That is a beautiful piece. The craftmanship is excellent - great symmetry.

All but the two upper left ones in the last pic look like they could be Heaton (not too sure about the black-based ones either). And while one of Heaton's nicest marbles, IMO, was the orange/red swirl on a pale blue base (I think that's the one you might be thinking of), the colors on the one you show don't really look right to me - that one looks a bit more like St. Mary's Alley to me.

It's a big one - pretty cool.
