  1. I think it's a JABO Classic. They occasionally get that corkscrew-like pattern - we call them Jorkscrews.
  2. I see a Ravenswood and a wacky Vitro Conqueror.
  3. Champion is my first thought.
  4. I agree it's contemporary. It's a pretty chunk of glass, what size is it? I assume you looked for a makers mark?
  5. Whoever gathered this one was downright tornadic . . .
  6. @The Nickel Guy I think you took Art the wrong way. I can guarantee he was not accusing you of deception. He was just letting you know that "tweaked" photos can often make it more difficult to accurately ID a marble. So many of these crazy marbles are so similar to one another that an "unnatural" photo can send us down the wrong path. In fact, I often tell people to be sure their photos actually look like the marble in-hand before they post them. 🙂
  7. This is from a 1921 Splitdorf sparkplug ad . . . https://www.ebay.com/itm/155977731541
  8. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more pics of these two: Nice colors, and they seem a little different to me. 🙂
  9. A Flintie that glows like the dickens under UV?
  10. @akroorka Those are nice tins with a great selection of marbles. The bag is awesome. and of all places, Weyauwega, WI?! It's so cool!
  11. Well . . . it's just a little out-of-round . . . 🙂
  12. I think I see what you're seeing but it's hard to tell - this dirty boy could really use a bubble bath!

    All Alleys?

I think the lower left may be Ravenswood. The others do look mostly Alley to me. The lower right one is my favorite, I'm about 60% Alley / 40% Ravenswood for that one.
  14. I could see it - looking at the right edge of the bag, I may detect a fold line, which would make it fit. But @akroorka Is the go to person around here for Akro bag questions. I'll bet he'll have some thoughts.
  15. From the look of the seams, I think it might be a Peltier Dragon, but I can see why you might think MK Watermelon. Let's see what others say.
  16. Happy Slag and Swirl Saturday! I guess you could call this little 21/32" Navarre a swirl . . .
  17. Nice mibs . . . If you look at the right marble in pics 1 and 3, you can see that there is a red strand running from pole to pole deep in the transparent patch. And in pics 2 and 4 you can see it surfacing at one of the seams.
  18. I think Art may be on to something. It looks like some South American marbles I have seen.
  19. Hmmm . . . these are always a challenge. I am not seeing Ravenswood. I think Champion or Alley are better possibilities.
  20. Did you post a more swirly version of that first marble earlier? I may need to revisit that post based on this marble - this one looks a little Vitro to me but it's unusual, and I am not entirely sure what to think about it. Maybe something will come to me later. Your second marble impresses me as a Champion but Alley would be my second choice. It is not uncommon for yellow glass to react with UV. The purplish blue color you see is not fluorescence, it's just a reflection of the visible light coming from your source.
  21. I agree with Charile, the structure looks Akro to me, and the glass looks like a variant of the "Ade base", which glows like nuts.
  22. Very interesting marbles. They are similar to other marbles I have seen from Brazil and Argentina. Stephanie started a thread about these types some time ago. You may find it interesting.
