  1. Interesting - I wonder how it was made. Is there only a single cut-off?
  2. @I'llhavethat1 I'm not sure I've seen a solid core with so many colors - almost looks like a Joseph's Coat. I'm not even sure what to call this marble besides awesome. The colors and construction are beautiful! What do you call it?
  3. The last ones you posted look like JABOs to me.
  4. Running Rabbit Marble Auctions back in the 1990s.
  5. That was my exact thought when I saw it!
  6. They look like hand-made ballot balls from here. Now you need to find the notorious "black ball". 🙂
  7. One of the coolest game marble I've ever seen!
  8. I like old boxes too, Art, and this is a nice one!
  9. It's a nice tray, Art. I'd be tempted to display it with the small one inside. I don't think you'll ever get the crud off without drastically changing the look of the tray so I would probably leave it.
  10. We eat supper at home or dinner out, which seems kinda odd now that I think about it. 🙂
  11. I don't get the idea of "spin" on a machine-made marble, unless we're talking about corkscrews. Honestly, I wouldn't know if the OP spun clockwise, counterclockwise, or not at all. How can you tell? Could you show me a comparison of right vs left spin on a machine-made? I am totally lost with this idea.
  12. Nice buy, the marbles look pretty clean and AV is always a plus - looking forward to seeing more of them!
  13. Happy Thuringen Thursday! Here's a 11/16" single ribbon core with a jelly center and some cool bubbles.
  14. That's a nice group of Euro Sparklers - can't wait to see the new additions!
  15. I'm betting it's still called a Rooster.
  16. I think Master too.
  17. Cool marble - unusual colors. Is that just a big blowout in the 3rd pic or does it look like an intentional hole for a pin/stud or something?
  18. Looks Master to me too.
  19. I think it is an old Marble King patch and ribbon with less common colors.
  20. This is a really nice Master but I don't think I would call that brown color oxblood.
  21. FWIW, I think many of the marbles in your 3rd-5th photos are JABO Classics, and I don't see any oxblood anywhere here.
  22. It does look like an industrial glass ball that might have been used in fiberglass production or myriad other things. I have heard them referred to as "railroad marbles" because tons of industrial marbles were transported by rail and many wound up lost on the tracks along the way.

    Check this out

This is "Traps" (Traps Mfg. Co., Seattle, Washington) - a golf-themed marble game. It was manufactured and sold for many years. The marbles look foreign to me, newer than the game, and probably bigger than originals. I'd guess the game is 1930s-1940s. Cool find!
  24. Yours are Type IV Vitro Tiger Eyes, Dave.
