He's the high bidder on one of my auctions right now so he must have good taste. LOL! What do you know ,here it is!

These are a couple I think are Bloodies. One maybe a Ravenswood so that could make it a brown base swirl, but for now with my Bloodies. Good thread great pics everyone.

My pics are too big, putting them back in the box. Most of the pee-wees I have are cat-eyes. Some are Peltier some are Marble King and a few are handmade.

Yes, I should have called them pinchers, they don't have pontils. As for nines I don't know but I'll get them out and have a closer look. The shooter has a little aventurine too. Thanks for the pointers.

I think these may be Japanese pinch pontil.

Great thread, great marbles

Thanks Steph ,I guess the blue color and aventurine were making me think something else. I have had aventurine in my Akro agates before in a different color combo and they all came from the same box so Akro works for me.

Nice van, I will be looking for that, I like cars too. The more I look at these I don't know if Akro? ,Vitro?, ? .I had a box of corks and I took all the patch marbles out. Many are opalescent three in the first row are opaque with transparent blue patch, the one in the middle pic is loaded with blue aventurine in the blue, is that different? Did Akro or Vitro make anything like these.

Found this the other day going thru some slags and this one has a pontil. Steph had mentioned Barberton or Barberton green. I like to have more.

Here is another picture of the marble I posted earlier that I thought could be champion. This marble has some surface swirling going on, there is white translucent aventurine glass also. The size is 21/32" . Great marbles everyone.
