  1. Not sure who made this marble, size 9/16"
  2. Here is an old pic of some Cosmic Rainbows, the marble on the right shows a typical U horseshoe pattern. I can take some better pics tomorrow, watching game now.Marble on the left displaying inverted U pattern.
  3. No hurt feelings here, I didn't collect cats-eyes at first either. After I saw what some marbles cost I saw cat-eyes as an alternative to higher priced vintage marbles and some are bringing good prices now only a few years later. Yes the Cosmic Rainbows are horse-shoe cats, it's kind of hard to tell without looking at them closley in hand. Thanks for asking, great marbles everyone.
  4. Wow those are some beautiful flames, very nice.

  8. Thanks everyone.I went back this morning and got the rest of these.Steph I can see the similarity to those marbles you refer to thank you.So if there not pop-eyes would it be fair to say these are an unusual color combo?I'm thinking of putting some of these on e-bay and want to get my info correct. Thanks again
  9. I don't know much about pop-eyes but I'm wondering if this might be?The size is 5/8" and light will pass through it,not opaque.Need opinions on what type of cork it could be please. Thanks

  12. Yes you did ,I hadn't forgotten and should have mentioned your name but sometimes I post my messages in haste like today.I had to squeeze it in before my doctors appointment,I like your idea about "chocolate strawberries" but will it hold up with the east coast collectors? LOL only kidding,I don't suppose every marble has a name or needs one.Steph the ribbons on these marbles do run deep they are very baseball like. Here's two pics I took first without a flash second with a flash. size is 9/16"
  13. Thanks Steph for trying "chocalate something" doesn't sound too bad.I always do this I buy what I think I can afford then I go home and kick myself for not getting the rest knowing these marbles have been stored somewere together and only by some stroke of luck they found there way to me.So I went back yesterday and got the rest of them.I tried to get just the mint ones, the two big ones have minor damage.
