  1. Hello all, seems like an interesting thread so far. These are some marbles from my collection I believe to be ravenswood,I am not an expert. No sign of handgathering but sizes are from left to right 31/32" 15/16" 1-1/32"
  2. Thanks Steph,I thought of that marble when I saw this auction. It was around $54.00 at the time ,never thought it would go that high.Marble on!
  3. This marble measures 15/16" colors are red black lavender green blue and beige. It has a master vibe but the lavender color and size make me think it may be related.
  4. Thanks Steph,I love mine.I got it at a rock and bottle show, what a surprise. There are four pictures in the back of the book. The three I posted and the one you included make all four. This pic is of American Cornelian toy marbles
  5. And another, these are experimental and limited production toy marbles
  6. Here is some info from the book M.F.Christensen and the perfect glass ball machine,by Michael C. Cohill
  7. Opps a pistachio may have slipped in there but I got them all together soo..the little blue zebra has aventurine is transluscent and if that's not enough it's flourerscent,I don't see that in many Pelts
  8. Not sure who made this marble, size 9/16"
  9. Here is an old pic of some Cosmic Rainbows, the marble on the right shows a typical U horseshoe pattern. I can take some better pics tomorrow, watching game now.Marble on the left displaying inverted U pattern.
  10. No hurt feelings here, I didn't collect cats-eyes at first either. After I saw what some marbles cost I saw cat-eyes as an alternative to higher priced vintage marbles and some are bringing good prices now only a few years later. Yes the Cosmic Rainbows are horse-shoe cats, it's kind of hard to tell without looking at them closley in hand. Thanks for asking, great marbles everyone.
  11. Wow those are some beautiful flames, very nice.

  15. Thanks everyone.I went back this morning and got the rest of these.Steph I can see the similarity to those marbles you refer to thank you.So if there not pop-eyes would it be fair to say these are an unusual color combo?I'm thinking of putting some of these on e-bay and want to get my info correct. Thanks again
