  1. I disagree, maybe you don't know the feeling of a job well done. The smile of a satisfied customer.I think there is lots of room for improvment, everywhere, starting with me.
  2. Steve you are correct! You never met your obligation with me and I never bought from you again.I had to call you after three weeks and remind you I sent you cash and hadn't recieved my marbles. After I recieved my marbles I knew all I needed to know about Jabo marbles,I totally understand what David is saying. There seems to be no pride of workmanship,no responsibility in bussiness today. From marbles to the stockmarket to big oil it's nothing but greed and it's time for peopple to say enough is enough. You can't hide from it here on the marble page,it's everywhere.David thanks for the info, never dreamed there was that much waste, culls.
  3. I have some broken corks but a reversing cork spirals from both ends to the middle?I can't take pics right now but the two marbles in back might be reversing corks.
  4. My answer? Give me a pound of Pelt! This thread needs some marbles,Me thinks there are some sore eye's out there.Good points David. As a businessman you have summed it up well.Assuming 30% mark-up,the question is if your not makin money why do it? But it's more than that.... I never did get interested in them enough to even consider them as an investment, and the marbles I have are not investments. But some of them ARE "Jewel Quality Marbles" with provinance. You can't buy a stick of that provinance.I'm stickin with vintage.Everything in it's own time,30-50 years.Hey now Vitro's are collectable, right on time.
  5. Good info.I still like my Fancy Tri-Lites but will be lookin for better examples.
  6. You might say I'm slow but I'm sloppy.I read all that info last nite and still got it wrong. This marble stuff is hard! These Superiors must be pretty rare, here's the only one I could find. Two red bands surrounding a yellow patch.
  7. Here are some I've got.Started taking pics and my batteries died, darn it.These are Trilites I think.Uh-oh this thread is about superiors, don't look at these marbles.Nice marbles everyone.
  8. Great marbles Galen! No Ox but I'm happy to see the similarities your pics and mine Scott, although mine are darker they look pretty good with some of my other CAC swirls.I did find some dark reds and browns, shades of black there too. Thanks everyone!
  9. Thanks Steph,About all I can offer is more pictures. The oxblood on these marbles is not like Akro Oxblood. There is brown, black and red swirls with swirls that look like oxblood also. The marble I have pictured I believe is Ravenswood. It's the closest I could find for a match in pattern and color, specifically blue and white.Anybody else have these? Thanks Bo
  10. The brown looks like Oxblood to me,but I suggested brown first. Thanks for looking.
  11. So when this thread started I could'nt put my hands on this marble.I ran across it today and took pics. What makes this marble special and different to me is the two clear areas actually create a swirl pattern on the surface.I'm thinkin'Master
  12. Saw a marble like these on the main board and was interested myself.Size is 5/8".Not sure how long I've had them.I found recently while re-organizng.
  13. How can you not love a machine that makes marbles?
  14. David ,yes that is green aventurine, seperate from the other colors. This marble does contain a light orange aventurine also. The two colors of aventurine are seperated by the orange and pink area surrounding the green aventurine. Then the orange aventurine is borderd by the yellow colored glass. Two different colors of aventurine on one marble.Serious aventurine.Heres another pic ,do you like it?Trying to get better pics, these pictures were taken outside lighted by the sun.Bo
  15. WOW! WOW! WOW!.....WOW Serious Aventurine! What size.....,does it matter? Don't laugh at my Jabo!
  16. And a couple more pics. The group shot marbles are not all aventurine marbles, just regular marbles
  17. Great day to take pics here in nevada.Dave gonna take your advice a get a dfferent background.A Blue Zebra and a Peltier with black aventurine base glass and white ribbons.Serious Aventurine
  18. Thanks Orb,I'll keep looking.Sometimes I get carried away..LOL Bo
  19. Here are some better pics of the marble I think is a blue Oxblood.I'm not a cork expert but it looked like Ox till I put it on the light. To light for oxblood? Yes the Joseph's coat has aventurine in the green.Thanks,Ann...... Bo
  20. And of course the Cosmic Rainbows another version of horseshoe cat made in small numbers by Vitro Great marbles everyone!
  21. That's awful.Did that happen at a show.What kind were they?
