There are stores near me were I can buy Vacor or chinese marbles.It can be done,even in hard times.

Yes Steph, I agree with you,this is why Jabo can't be the "Big Dog" Steve claims they are compared to CAC,Peltier or there contemporaries Marble King,Vacor,and China. IMO "Big Dog" is a title reserved for the champions ,the winners,the undisputed leader in there feild.I understand now Steve wants to narrow this discussion down to prettiness,so I'm supposed to ignore all the other accomplishments of MFC,CAC and Peltier when they are compared to JABO? That would be like me saying "my left hook is better than Muhommad Ali's,only my left hook.So when comparing me to him only consider his left hand and don't consider all his other fantastic attributes.Yahoo! I'm the Big Dog" I don't know Dave and I'm sure he is a nice guy who probably wouldn't make the claims that Steve makes RRR=4.4%

I'm thinking if Jabo wanted to compare it's self to CA or Peltier they should package there brand and sell them on the open market competing with Marble King ,Vacor ,China and see how they stack up.Yes package them up and sell across the USA as CAC and Peltier did.Would Jabo rise to take over the world marble market?I don't think so.If they could then they could truely say they are comparable to CAC and Peltier.bo

Got these two today.Big green one measures 1-1/4" the purple measures 13/16".Slag is an MFC,I think,the other has me wondering,haven't seen one like this, it has a ribbon of bubbles streaking through it's clear window.Also the seams come to a point facing the same direction around the marble.I'm putting more pics of the purple one in ID section.bo

Not a diaperfold

Not until I've said what I've been waiting to say from the beginning of this thread.Diaperfold got me looking at all of the CAC marbles that I have,looking hard.Then two days later I found myself looking at Exotics.I was able to return a second time and examine them again.There are some big differences between my CAC and the exotics,contruction.They were beautiful,but the colors are off.They seemed too pretty to be that old.I have looked at alot of marbles. Now I will build a scenario,hypothetical.Let's say you and I have some very good fake marbles and some jabo's, Lots!!! of common stuff,damaged stuff,polished or worse vintage marbles.Then we could leave the good stuff at home and sell the other stuff,that's what we are offering.Over time we discribe and put pictures of fake marbles in books and wala,now there is an unending supply of product and I still got the good stuff at home.We will redefine in 10-20 years.What is the definition of that? bo
