Thanks Steph,About all I can offer is more pictures.The oxblood on these marbles is not like Akro Oxblood.There is brown,black and red swirls with swirls that look like oxblood also.The marble I have pictured I believe is Ravenswood.It's the closest I could find for a match in pattern and color,specifically blue and white.Anybody else have these? So when this thread started I could'nt put my hands on this marble.I ran across it today and took pics.What makes this marble special and different to me is the two clear areas actually create a swirl pattern on the surface.I'm thinkin'Master

Saw a marble like these on the main board and was interested myself.Size is 5/8".Not sure how long I've had them.I found recently while re-organizng.

David ,yes that is green aventurine,seperate from the other colors.This marble does contain a light orange aventurine also.The two colors of aventurine are seperated by the orange and pink area surrounding the green aventurine.Then the orange aventurine is borderd by the yellow colored glass.Two different colors of aventurine on one marble.Serious aventurine.Heres another pic ,do you like it?Trying to get better pics,these pictures were taken outside lighted by the sun.Bo

Thanks Ann and Clyde,not sure if it's older or newer,copywright is 1990.I really like this book alot it has a lot of good info and the four pic cards are all there.I have some pretty marbles but I think this is the rareast item in my collection.Bo

I can't think of a marble that would be the rarest in my collection,but I do have a rare marble realated item.From what I understand only one hundred were made.It's in mint condition.Got it at a rock and bottle show.

Were the 9 vane cat-eye's made in germay or japan? I see sevaral the have the same cutline as mine.Georgeous MIBS..........searching,back to the fleamarket.

Also picked up some fishin gear.Good fishing here in Nevada, German Browns,Rainbows,Cutthroat,Mackinaw

Here is a marble identified as German machine made.Look at those seams,they come to a shsrp point like a can opener.Also interesting the way they used bubbles in a stream like another color.

More pics from today's find,an Akro blue blood cork , a fiery cats-eye and a Green Master Marble,it's got aventurine too.I've heard that they have it,this is my first one.I'll get better pics,I'm worn out.This is a lot more work than ebay but I think I get a better deal.And I got some leads

I'm back with the rest.Ruth,The Joseph's coat has a clear base and a core of color yes.You can see thru the marble between the marble colors,the core is not solid. Lower right anyone seeing Peltier? looks like it from here. Glad I went back!I'm Tard

Things are looking good at the flemarket,spring is here.Got these so far,going back to comb alittle more.I see a clear based Joseph's coat on the right,never seen that before....Duh! looked at my other Joseph's coats and there all clear based.I need to look at my hand mades more often .And a blue oxblood..
