Here's some frits I like a lot, the glass quality is so much nicer than the usual ones. Could there be an elusive vitro here? frit ones are very common in UK, sold in many stores in bags/tins marked Made in China, the contents look exactly like Vacor glitter/sparkle and stardust and usually come mixed with other low quality marbles, here's some of those and some others are quite nice, I like the swirly pattern when the frit is stretched, the blue base ones I have only found among older marbles so wonder if they are earlier

Yes brilliant interview, I love the intro, probably how most collectors start. The questions and answers are really good giving just the right level of info summarized really well. As it is a struggle for specialist marble sites to spot and eradicate the fake/fraud items I don't see it as any more of an issue on a general site. New or old, big or small, love 'em and collect 'em all. Jabo, Vacor 'n all the rest, German swirls are still the best.

Maybe a nice Vacor! Never considered it as Jabo. I like the tank wash idea though and thought others may wash their tanks! Agree on regular frit mib for this one.

Nice thanks! What is really special about the other is the vibrancy of the pink and red you can see in that pic. Didn't make it to the show, way too far for me and probably out of budget too, loved all the pics though!

That is how they were made, just as I said in post #22

Cant see any similarity between this marble and sulphides. Maybe someone mis-interpreted the reports? With sulphides, the sulphide figure is made in a mould, then put in the marble which is hand made.
