  8. Here is a pic amongst some blue and super light green relatives just to show color as it looks almost blue alone. And Ann...I know!!! I couldn't pass on it even with a couple dings. lol
  9. Just got this....... what I believe to be Alley and she has a few dings but man I love it! Never seen one quite like it....anyone have examples similar?
  10. Thanks Edna, here is a Vitro I have yet to classify but is one of my favorites. It is on a clear base with some filliments inside and is a biggun at 1 inch!

  15. Cool lookin marble. I have not seen to many swirls with so many colors. First two that came to mind were Alley and CAC but I think I will have to ponder for a while.
  16. In terms of being specific, I have only heard ghost used for the marble called an Alley Ghost. It is a semi transpearent marble with ghost like filliments. Blue base and orange swirls. The fillements can vary from leaving clear areas to fully filling the marble and the swirl can vary in browns, oranges to reds. Having said that I have heard ghost used to describe filliments that float lightly through the marble, wispy and very light. In this case only used to describe a look, but not to decribe a type or specific marble. Here are some Alley Ghosts....

  19. No worries, The swirls can be a time consuming and frustrating endevor, that's part of what makes it fun...right? lol
