Typically it means they'll get a notification if you post. So they don't miss your beautiful marbles or your insightful comments.

Very similar one(s) here. Not exact same size. Maybe they would welcome a pic of one with your dimensions.

Whoa! Huge. What does it look like from the side?

Hi. Welcome. What size?

With that base glass the book may still not be closed on this.
I would like to know what any MK gurus think about the base.- 1

Is that what these are called?
No. I was just searching for a properly admiring word.- 3

Gorgeous. Don't remember ever associating that base with MK, but the exterior is so MK that this is my first choice also.

I am actually confident that C is Alley. It is a sentimental favorite.
*crossing fingers @cheese doesn't say I'm wrong*

Alley for C.
Then figure Master for B and maybe Pelt for A. (Not seeing the exact views I would want in order to be more sure on A.) -
Good job capturing the shimmer.

Local newspaper contacted me and sended a fotographer
If they can write an article about me was the question
The biggest collector of Vintage American Machinemade marbles in the Netherlands and what i create of marbles , lamps , candlelights , pyramids , windspinners and that i donate the marbles that have no collectorsvalue to a few projects that use them to make kids happy in developing countries (3rd world)
I have written a small story about how i started and how i made friends here and how my marble brothers and sisters overseas helped me reach this goal so far
I would like to thank all who made this possible
When the article is released in the paper i will post it here also
Thank You !!!! 🇳🇱🤝🏻🇺🇲 God bless you All
Well done. You've come a long way in a relatively short time. Such dedication.

Congrats!
Do you know the YT-channel named "Jelle's Marble Runs"? I think a collaboration would be awesome
Jelle is a member here. He lasted posted in 2017 though.- 1

Whoa, Rick. Another cool thread I missed. I really should have subscribed to this subforum earlier so I would get notices.
Was these projects you were working on? What's in the last picture? -
How did I miss this. I am now "following" this subforum so I won't miss such a thing again.

I think Vitro, Akro, and Vitro.
That middle one looked Akro to me also, but Art not thinking it was one of his made me doubt!
Would you say 1930's for the two Vitros?- 1

Remember when people talked about Earth being a big blue marble?
Apparently the big blue marble has a giant steelie in the middle. Trippy.

Welcome. Akros and Jabos. A nice range.

Hmmm. Art, I'm leaning older on these. At least I'm feeling pretty sure the blue/green/white one is older.

Alley stopped making marbles in the 1940's. Champion kept making marbles into the modern era. My belief is that it was easier for errors to get past quality control in the modern era. Fewer kids playing marbles. Less important to get them all round.
