Nice thread, IMHO it's just that, my humble opinion, not your's or theirs or his or hers, it is strange how some people will shove IMHO down your throat and insist you agree with their HO.
Edna is way off track stating "it's all of our opinions" ????
NO, when someone says IMHO, take it for what it is, don't knock them, don't mock them, don't make them look stupid and most of all, don't make their IMHO a problem.
Everyone's opinion is okay EXCEPT Edna's?
Don't knock them or mock them UNLESS they're Edna?

Is it That1's pic you copied in Post #62? I need to check that out. Are any of those "Vitro ox"?
Yes, it's That1's. Originally from Post #49. The one in the center and the one just to the right of it (at 3-ish o'clock?) . . . are those Vitro ox?
-

haha, Kevin, you quoted my question before I was done hashing it out in my mind. LOL.
I think I've seen some which people called Vitro ox which wasn't on green, but I can't remember for sure. Uh, okay, Edna is saying so.
I'll have to go hunt down the examples she's referring to.

I thought that "everybody" knew about Champ and Alley ox. Vitro ox isn't even surprising anymore. Pelt ox quit being surprising some time back. But did any of them have ox which wasn't an accidental byproduct of the coloring agents involved? For example, I've been noticing a lot of ox floating around near aqua shades. This seems likely accidental. To me. At present. IMHO. etc. etc. I'm figuring copper was used to make the aqua shade (just a guess - looking for confirmation or correction someday).
With regard to "Vitro ox", there is some which doesn't hover around near aqua or green, right? But that kind doesn't look so much like Akro ox?

One more. Just one. LOLOL. I love solids. Coz (a) I like to sort colors and (b ) sometimes they surprise ya!
These aren't mine but I can't find the pic of mine. I have one which might fit in this box. If the ones in this box are hand-gathered and light up like an a-bomb test site under blacklight. I think I asked once if they were hand-gathered but didn't hear back on that.

Alrighty, someone else's turn.

LOL. Bill's commons are fancier than most of my fanciest but here are a few more of my commons anyway. Albert's marbles are about as plain and common as marbles can get, huh.

Here's an old fave:
Just an ordinary blackline all-red.
Just your average vitro all-red.

It has one proper seam, and then ... it corks on the other side.

I don't want to slight well-behaved all-reds tho'. I like them also.

Hey, if anyone leaves, I would. Don't you do it Dani. I'm sure I'll get into the game spirit later but I have mixed feelings about it now.
When is the deadline for a decision?

Edna that thread was awesome, i really enjoyed it, ive probably read and looked over it 100 times, but there wasn't much on the high end Vitros, like Buttermilk's, Aquamarines, Superiors n stuff, so i though why not give it a go !
I hope to see some more types of Aquamarines and Variations.
Dani is that a Buttermilk in there ???
Then it coulda been called Vitro the sequel! (lol) stead of "the" Vitro Thread.

But if people who have been collecting less time than **** don't say it, they get ****-ed at. LOL
Better safe than

I found the thread but the pix are gone. It had blue and green and yellow if that helps any!

Sorry, don't know what to say on this one.

I also thought you might need to get an email and respond to that to verify yourself. But I guess that whatever it is you need to do to verify yourself, you won't get a chance to if you cannot click the button to agree.
And yes, if you're not seeing the button to hit, then it does seem like a javascript problem. But is it your problem Javascript problem or theirs? I experience MANY Javascript errors at Yuku.
I guess you could try to start over with a different name and see if today you get all the right buttons.
ORRRRR, you could get someone else to register a name for you and then use that account.

Pinch Pontil?

The "pinched pontil" misnomer is probably exacerbated by what some call "Japanese pinchers". Purely machine made but with odd pinched looking poles.
Fun stuff, huh?
