  1. Here's some killer swirls that also just happen to be 1" Jabo Woodstocks. These came in Saturday's mail.
  2. I recently switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox, and it seems to be faster with less freezes, also more versatile. I'll never go back to IE.
  3. Real or fake, I wouldn't buy any of those marbles in the first picture because they're too ugly.
  4. That's probably true...as long as keeping the wolf from the door isn't an issue.
  5. Maybe you can use a hot, but not too hot, iron, and put it on the stamp for not more than about five seconds, then peel up the stamp without tearing it. I often do that to remove price stickers, and it works for me.
  6. I use 800 x 600 or a 15" monitor for the internet, and a 22" monitor for everything else.
  7. Weldon and Edna, I hope you're both ok...?
  8. Here's a listing that inspired me to click on it, if only because the thumbnail conjured up an image of a marble in the clutches of dying demon. Devil holding marble
  9. When I do my marble search on eBay every night, it would be nice if there were a few more auctions that enticed me to click on them and check them out further. There's all too many that a glance at the title and thumbnail seems more than enough time spent on them.
  10. Maybe I should've said "ALMOST nothing on eBay anymore"
  11. Just found this "killer", but it's in crappy condition and the bids are outtasight... Killer Cork
  12. Well, somebody better be putting up some good ones soon because I think I'm going thru withdrawal..
  13. What's everybody doing, hoarding all their marbles? Seems like I haven't bought anything for weeks. One or two sellers with some good stuff, and the rest is mostly just junk.
  14. "Funk and flash", that's what I go for! Hee, hee. (I must be an awfully shallow, superficial person). Eye candy is what marbles are all about, IMO
  15. I saw that auction, and I can't believe it went for anywhere near what it did. I don't see a whole lot of difference between that marble and a below-average Vacor Michaelangelo. I'm not totally serious, but I'm not totally unserious either. I just don't get it. Now I'll sit back and wait for people to fling nasty comments at me. But I could understand this one going for maybe a third of what it did: Clown
  16. ...so that's what people were doing for the last few days, when they should've been bidding on my eBay auctions...
  17. Who all got banned and why??? (Maybe I should read the board more often...I missed the whole thing.)
  18. I still haven't quite figured out what it is about the new runs of Jabos that I find unappealing (besides all that orange in most of them). Maybe it's too much aventurine, or they're too dark, or the colors don't blend well enough, or the color combinations aren't right. Whatever it is, they just don't seem to "work", IMO. I bought a couple Aces recently, and even though they looked pretty good in the photos, in hand, they don't do a thing for me.
  19. Did you get that on eBay? Just wondering how I could have missed it.
  20. I'm beginning to think my beat-up onion is more trouble than it's worth. Anybody interested in buying it?
  21. Has anyone heard of T. C. Robertson? What kind of job do you think he did on this reannealed marble? Reannealed Marble
