Think you made the right decision fishslayer griff Well not from a yard sale but a flea market there were no antique bottles or marbles at the 2 markets i went to until i spied these in a little seal bag and for 2 bucks and out of sheer desperation to buy something i snapped them up Dunno what they are just modern, although a couple could maybe pass for old at the bottom front [ CRAIG C

Dont have any really good marbles yet, But really like the " German " caged one`s with the multi coloured swirl cores and onion skins but the " Green Raven " would be top of my list to own at present Changes all the time vitro parrots are pretty nice Akro popeyes are also up there in green probably lucky if ive seen half of whats out there to be had Craig

Hi guys i dont think that one was a bottle stopper I collect English and Australian made marble stoppered bottles the marbles used for stoppers are 3/4 in both the 13oz and 7oz " Codds Patent bottles " and are perfectly round apart from the small ground down section where the glass was injected in to the mould Also cobalt marbles were used in some Codds but were much darker blue than the one shown here Ive also never seen one with air bubbles in it Cheers Craig
