  1. Beauties. How so clean? They weren't all dug?
  2. My knee jerk ID at the 1st photo was Master Tiger Eye.
  3. Showing my SBG's that I love so much; a few from Griff and most from Ron & Nola (theirs are the more dirty ones).
  4. Hi, looking for age of my German Beachballs please. 3/4" - 7/8".
  5. A mystery it seems. I shared it as a FB message to Dani Kirk and she suggested Akro, but not from an Akro dig.
  6. You don't collect Vacor do you? Me neither, well, just one type, but any-who.....Vacor: Clownfish; Orca; Tiger Shark; Octopus.....things that live in the water, not necessarily fish.
  7. Can you show more views of the white translucent base with the single smaller orangey patch? It's at 6:00 in the last photo. And, put a light behind it?
  8. The last 2 marbles with orange ribbon are Vitros. They resemble a "helmet". A true "helmet" needs a clear base. Both are pretty.
  9. Hi, this guy is 5/8". First of it's kind I've ever seen, not that I've seen as many as most of you have, but, seems a little special.
  10. Hi, this guy is 3/4"-, .72", translucent. Fourth photo is backlit. Kind of flinty-ish. Thoughts?
  11. Thanks for help here with this little tricky guy. The dive into the white that Ron described, super helpful. Thanks for putting this one up Steph. Appreciate all input, thank you. -Sara
  12. Hello! I just want to thank everyone for responding to Steph's SOS on my marble. Much appreciate the time and care. Ron, you'll see it in hand at an IN show.......
  13. Where did the Alan's grading scale go on the new page? It was very helpful.
  14. Thank you Cheese, pm via this site sent.
  15. After trying to gain access to AAM over a year ago, I would like to try again with this new management information. I just now sent an email from the site with my former account access failures. I am requesting your help please.
  16. I'm too lazy to sign up for another site, AAM. Guess that's it. Thanks everyone for what you have contributed.
  17. Yes, that's the link, thanks for posting it. Your marble is similar to mine. I like 'em!
  18. I don't know why the link I copied and pasted isn't linking. You can copy and paste it into your browser, or, I can copy and paste the info and photo if you would like.
  19. Hi, I'm looking for as much good information as you may have about the Peltier Nova family, 1988. The only on-line info I can find is this: https://www.peltiermarbles.info/1981-nove-run?fbclid=IwAR2HZM8QLt7hAQYjMB3GBZa1OvNMLMsn2YZFLJGE9_LJ6k9F1j_eivvEfD8 I own two from this family (a Float and a black),see photo, disregard the muddy's. I interpret the info from the link as the black ones must have a specific color and patch to officially be given the Nova name, communicating to me that I cannot call mine a Nova based on it's squiggle color and shape. I can, however, call mine, 'from the Nova family'. Is this accurate information? I'd love to see photos of any of your Novas, black, or otherwise (have never seen someone share a champagne photo from their collection). Stephanie, if this would be better housed in Marble ID forum, by all means, move it. Thank you!
  20. Hi, Just wanted to plant a seed that there is a new marble show in the planning phase. It will be in Dayton, OH, named 'The Gem City Marble Show'. It will likely be September, 2021.
  21. I saw a marble for sale with Lucite in description. Lucite is a version of acrylic. The marble looked interesting and old, maybe just yellowed and weathered though. It just got me wondering if they ever had a "hey-day" for any amount of time. Shortly after that I saw new acrylic marbles advertised, so, maybe that answers my question. I'm guessing someone out in all of marble world collects acrylic marbles. Here's the link to the Alan Sherman song...I had to look it up and listen, it's fun. Title is 'Eight Foot Two, Solid Blue'. https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=h1zIToPr59M&list=RDAMVMh1zIToPr59M
  22. Hi, I am looking for information regarding approximate age of Lucite marbles, and any other interesting info you might have to share about them. Thank you, Sara
