  1. any guesses on these 2 guys?
  2. if we had a like button, I would press it twice, so beautiful, you are lucky.
  3. Hypocritter, I love your photo. Pine forests? They are the best.
  4. Another example: I know it can't be this easy.....I'm sure each of you have 20 exceptions to my marble "logic". Rainbo, fading ribbons: NLR: non-fading ribbons (well, the green is fading, but......well, darn-it, they are just more, you know? solid/substantial/meatier) Both posts pictures are copied and pasted from Peltier.com.....
  5. I'll take a stab at the NLR/Rainbo difference, WTHeck!! Rainbo, blue and yellow. See how ribbons slightly fade away? NLR Cub Scout: See how ribbons don't fade away?
  6. Does anyone see oxblood in these 2 pictures of the same 3 marbles? If so, what would you call them? If not, what would you call them? Thank you!
  7. Big guess from the newbie: if there's any orange, that would be a Citrus Liberty??
  8. thanks Galen, just wondered about what I read. It was probably the authors 'IMO' too.
  9. Thanks Darla, super helpful picture. Should file this one away! That very well is probably what I'm seeing.
  10. Aren't pets the best Darla? You're pictures are cute. If a snake can be cute.... My daughter and I have 6 with fur, 2 with feathers and an aquarium.
  11. thanks for posting this cheese. If the non-oxblood, 2nd from top were moved to the left side, I wouldn't know the different. Maybe it's better "in the hand"? Question: I see these glass frogs being used. Potential to scratch marbles? I'm guessing you just use them for photo ops? I saw some at the antique store the other day and almost got a couple, for display purposes, but decided against it.
  12. 3 more cheese...still going with CAC? If Steph confirms also, I won't start a new Marble ID thread.
  13. thanks you two! Pictures tomorrow, time to hit the hay. Didn't mean to divert away from your sorted group Stph. I like the top, white based with gray and black. Never seen that coloration before. Curious to see how my eBay lots go tomorrow night. Also, Steph, the Realers in this thread are not the solid white with black patches in eBay lot. I hope you noticed that. Aventurine.....obvious confusion but I do see gold spots way into the guts of the marbles. Night ya'll.
  14. the 3 I'm referring to above were your stumpers with single ribbon.
  15. in Marble ID forum, New Member Old Collection 8 you can see all 5 in question here in the firs big group shot. Then, all the way down the thread, cheese thought the 3 (with a nice pic) were rainbos, and the 2 red/blue swirly (also nice pic) were "some sort of WV swirl". I don't know how to move those pictures into this thread.
  16. thank you, I did OK, but will re-arrange a couple. With the picture cheese just posted in Marble Comparison thread, with the CAC on his left side...those ribbon shapes look like my red-blue swirly in top row that you aren't sure about. Could they be CAC? I cannot believe I even stumped you.
