Steph, your accidental backyard art (okay, I remember the photograph even if photobucket is blocking it actually): Just put some hoses or gutter like half pipes to the framework and you could get an 'accidental backyard marble run'. Bumblebee, you have a nice piece of nature you are living nearby. Really.

Hi, I learned here in this forum on photobucket when looking for a place to 'park' my pics on the web. Things worked for a couple of weeks and then refused. So I cursed on it, scraped my account there and started using imgur.com. Handling pics and navigating mine is not super-intuitive there but it works.

So now I know what a fidget spinner is. A nice idea converting a marble track into a pinball like playground.

Hi out there, while I just fail getting my easter eggs rolling down a track, it creeped into my mind that I have still this ping pong ball run contraption to post. Since months I have no idea about a name so here it finally goes nameless as is: The two columns wind up the balls a spiral way. The balls then drop onto the downward track and at the bottom they get split by colour to each spiral lift. One motor drives the lifters synchronously. Two AA-cells could do the job for hours. No fancy stuff, no decorations just the necessary parts to get it work and stable. The lifters are inspired by Akiyuky's GBC devices. Here we have the track side: The pictures were taken unpowered, so the balls queue up before the splitter. When powered those waiting are distributed across the tracks and there is little to no queue at all. Enjoy your (easter) time Hoody

I am a little bit puzzled on how to read this table. Okay, the left column "miffed" I understand partly and I am wondering how "wing nut" or "crepes" (french: crêpes - something yummy) is meant. But the most astounding word in the column "I'm not having it" (what does this mean here?) is "Fahrvergnügen". I found some hints to a VW commercial. Does it originate from there?? "Bolshevik" - how old is the shown page roughly? 1960?

If there's something weeeeerd and it don't look good - who you gonna call?

Schadenfreude is an english word? It sounds so german. Okay, but I think there is no direct counterpart and to express you feel bad about having schadenfreude you might have ein schlechtes Gewissen. "Your spitefulness gnaws at your conscience" could be a translation. Or you are just sorry for being schadenfroh. However, its getting x-mas soon ... Season's Greetings
