  1. Hi Chuck The sunsets that I have, 40 or so the ribbons vary from a complete four vain cat's Eye to all the color being on the surface, almost a brushed look. All are loaded with bubbles, some only big bubbles and some the bubbles are so tiny it makes the glass appear cloudy. Many have a lot of degraded furnace clay / fired brick pieces in them. Some have Cresent shaped cut lines but not always where you would expect a cut line.
  2. That's funny Steph. It's ok because I have amassed an incredible amount of marbles in the last six months not to mention the several thousand I already had. I feel like a marble horder and need to throw a sorting party at my house.
  3. Dang your fast! There different and kinda cool looking. Thank you
  4. I ran across this while looking at marble pictures on the net. I have never seen any marbles with a dull silver metallic stripe. Anybody know what it is?
  5. Lol, your a bigger man then I am! Can't make myself throw away even half a marble.
  6. Hi Jeeperman Please excuse me but I forgot your name. Are you going with Akro also?
  7. Hi Steph Was that lavender common with Akro? I don't remember seeing much of it. It is a pretty combination. Thanks!
  8. It's just over 5/8", opaque lavender base, transparent red swerl. Was in a small lot of vintage marbles. The lavender has me stumped. For color reference it's sitting on white.
  9. Steph, Sunsets really are very pretty marbles. They appear to be an attempt to make cat's eyes. This one is a full two color, four vain cat's Eye. All four vains go from the center to the surface with a big bubble that goes completely thru one vain. Way cool!
  10. I went back and read this thread from the beginning for the 2nd time. You all are so much fun! Thanks for the laughs. So I rounded up everything I had that resembles a sunset. I even found a green one for Ann.
  11. Leonard Cohen "I'm your man" lol, 38th anniversary today!
  12. It's my opinion that change is good, Life's an adventure! Never look back!
  13. Thanks Steph, can't really imagine living anywhere else. I lived in Albuquerque for awhile and just never did like cities.
  14. After a little research, , there allys or alabaster marbles. There were allys and aggies for agate.
  15. I can take better individual pics if anyone has any ideas about them. Maybe I should post a couple to the ID thread.
