Ric: The transparent orange in some of the Stutzman set is a good match. On one hand I want to thank you for the Champion / Stutzman price list and pictures. On the other hand it makes me want to dump all my marbles into one box, send them along with books to the local corrections facility and suggest to the warden that inmates must be able to correctly identify at least twenty marbles as part of there pre release requirements. Instead of solitary confinement as a punishment the warden could just say something like Ravenwood or Dave McCullough. Hehe, thanks!

I did a stupid thing, on my way home to Montana from the arctic. My first flight was late and caused me to miss my connecting flight. Lol now I'm stuck in Seattle airport for 9 hours with a backpack that has about 25 lbs of marbles, several books, laptop with extra battery. Thinking about giving away my laptop.

I don't find confetti marbles very attractive but have a few from years back. Are there any that are worth keeping? And if so could we have a few pictures with names please?

Sailors solitaire is what most people call it. There are several different configurations that are common but I've never seen one that was a 5 x 5 with seven on one side. Nice find!

Hi all I'm wondering who does appraisals and certifications on marbles and what qualifies a person to do this? What do they check for, mohs hardness of different glass? Chemical makeup of different additives for colors and glass? Do they take samples? Or is it nothing more then visual comparison? What does a marble have to go thru to be certified?
