FWIW I’ve always sorted most of my Pelt by ribbon count. 3/3 NLR. 2/2 Rainbos but both are Rainbos. You can see it in the patterns of the Multi-Swirls as well.

I’d say the base glass and ribbons colors. I always thought once you see a few them you can I.D. them like you could a corkscrew. I just haven’t seen any really a lot of variations in base glass or ribbon colors other then what I have. Does anyone out there have different examples.

My Grandpa had this in his red 1963 Red Ford Ranchero. 3 on the tree. I got it when I was 10. So any ideas ?
