No prob. Hope it helps. You have a very nice lamp. Great find. Yes provenance is the backbone to solving artifact mysterys and adds to the value Meant to ask what style of marbles did they use?

Here you go. Hope im not breaking any copyright rules. From the book American Machine Made Marbles. Written by Dean Six , Susie Metzler , Michael Johnson. Published by Schiffer. Im sure many here have this book already. A wonderful book imo. The pictures are obviously fantastic . The identification guides quite helpfull but the history accounts make this book a must have. I could start a thread just talking about the history of the American Marble Companies that ive learnt from this book.

It says no value determined. There is another lamp that has a metal globe around the top fixture but is very similar on the same page at 1000-1400.
-
On page 180 of American Made Marbles. It says made in 1935 or earlier. Vitro indeed. I always admired that photo. It looks slightly different yours Edit. Book is American Machine Made Marbles

I have a few buckets of extras. I filled a square plastic deep tray . About 6" deep.12x12". Full of marbles then stuck my barefeet in. It was like going to the spa felt very nice and if you move your feet around its like a massage.it should be a new product. The Marble Foot Massager

Thanks. Thats pretty cool. Did they beat out the vintage USA marbles? Vacor does make some nice marbles.personally i find you can pick out some unique nice patterns within some of their designs. Is there a website for id of Asian marbles?
-

This sounds fantastic.Next summer. I am going to travel south when this is on. Make a marble vacation and try to see some of the old factories and hit the marble show.
-
Yeah it is pretty neat. Some of the advertisements would make great glossy posters and frame them.
