Thank you . Being pointed the right way , helps alot. Then i get to dig deeper into that area.

Yes indeed those pictures are wonderful

Yes ive seen very similar and traits that are common. It is kind of odds defying fantastic that the probabilty of 2 exact marbles being identical twins is quite low to non existent. Even Vacor who have made billions of them i think it would apply.

yes .They can have similar appearances. I suppose i was thinking more of machine made and wondering if each marble is unique like a fingerprint or a snowflake.

Are all vintage swirls one of a kind? Or could they control the pattern and make exact duplicates?

Jabo i will go with. I am all ears for creative ideas with my non display marbles . I was thinking of using them as tiles on the shower wall when we renovate the lavatory. Not sure if that is even possible though.

That is a nice marble. Sometimes i think the patterns look like some sort of marbles hieroglphics particularly on the Alley Agates -
American Machine Made Marbles written by Dean Six.Susie Metzler.Michael Johnson. I just received a copy last week. It is mesmerizing the amount of marble history all in this 1 book. I cant put it down. I love the history of American marbles and does this book ever deliver.

You persuaded me to look into Alley Agate today. I am thinking they may have made some of the wildest swirls ive seen yet. I like Lawrence Alley swirl work. Then i found about the Marble King connection that i did not know. Thanks. All apreciated. I also remember my grandfather reffering to marbles as alleys. Im not sure in general or actually referring to the company.
