  1. I gathered up some Vacor, w/ the largest being a Scorpion, there is also a smaller one somewhere in the mix, there may be one or 2 that aren't Vacor. I was kinda in a hurry ??
  2. "Welcome" A great place to learn, share & have a little fun while yer @ it, again "Welcome" P.S. Sorry for the late Hello, I spaced it !!
  3. It's not, just posting a different type of bag, this forum is on "One of a kind bags"
  4. Well !! I don't collect Vitro & have traded off 99,9 % of what I've had but there are a few left.
  5. Some of my Favorite Jabo's, from a contract run I believe some time in the 2000's I got them from a good Friend & investor a few years back, many more types than this, I really like the floating oxblood, just not in the mood for diggin & pic takin today, sorry guys.
  6. Very nice Stephen, great assortment color types & sizes
  7. Smore Vacor, I have quite a load lying here & there, guess I should round them up & take a group shot, I know I got a couple HTF discontinued ones from a good marble Brother I just have to get the old noodle ticking and figure out where they are
  8. This bag took me many years to find. A match to my board, I couldn't believe my luck. I also believe the marbles to be original to the bag considering where they came from. I had the box and instructions but oddly enough they decided to take a walk and never return, if I ever catch the scallywag that done it
  9. Three of my favorite go too's for this "Sundays Best" again and again I've flipped the pages of these books, now @ least a few of them have gone to a good marble Brother. From marbles & marble history to marble packaging all 3 are outstanding resources & a must for any mib heads library
  10. Ah, now I remember you posting the Crucifixes you knapped, for a moment I was gonna ask if you did the points on your own but mid sentence I remembered your other post, nice job Brett
  11. Codd Bottles are still produced in Japan & India, I'm not sure how to tell if you have old Codd marbles or newer Perhaps a bit more investigation ?? LINK :: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codd-neck_bottle
  12. Nice fiberoptic mib Brett, I like the way they reflect light too Thanks for the vid !!
  13. Tubby is 15, hard to believe just how attached you get to the little buggers 🐕
  14. Looks like a really nice old homemade board, (one of a kind IMO)almost everyone "used" to play marbles and marble games as a pastime. A little pride in your work never hurts. I remember when I was a kid Grandma, my Dad, nearly everyone I knew had a family Chinese checker board. Now they're reduced to wall hangers. Nice board BTW Tommy
  15. "Welcome to Marble Connection Odin" I see some Jabo Classics & cat eye's in the last 2 pix, not seeing any PPP's ? others will be by later to pitch in, have to run, got a DR. appt this mornin. Again "Welcome"
  16. Definitely has a couple unnatural round wear marks on it, I've found different rocks that were used as fishing net weights, grinding stones etc. The weights had a groove going all the way around them to secure the rope or leather that had been tied to them. Now the state has made it illegal to touch, move or remove any Native American artifact. I have a collection of arrowheads from my childhood from before the law was passed "once I find them " They fishing weights looked similar to these, made from heavy dense stone, I found them all in or near creek beds trout & or steelhead fishing, some near sloughs when I was a kid & had more Getty up go. Oop, there I go again straying off topic, excuse me Brothers & Sisters.
  17. Finest & cleanest Akro limeade oxblood I've eve owned. Not even an asmade dimple or crease, @ over 3/4ths also the biggest for this "Akro Friday" The camera wasn't moving, I had it on a tripod & took pix under several different sources of light including natural sunlight, the ox gives the illusion of movement, I thought it was me @ first that's why I decided on the tripod. All the pix show the same thing.
