Okay last Ballpark Pricing & Possivld ID
Chad G. replied to StevenJustSteven's topic in Marble I.D.'s
There are always alternatives, here are a few other reputable sellers, maybe a good place to look @ pricing also, I believe they all list there sold items & what they went for. I just personally don't use Ebay for any type of research or pricing anymore. LINK :: https://www.nationalmarbles.net/ LINK :: https://oldraremarbles.com/ LINK :: https://pbase.com/bkbowden/marblesforsale LINK :: https://biblefreak.org/Marbles/store/ LINK :: https://salazarglass.com/ LINK :: https://www.marbleauctions.com/ There are a lot more it just depends on what your looking for, I personally haven't bought from Ebay since 2003, all my purchases have been private sellers or from marble shows. But buy where you like & what you like, you're the only you you have to make happy -
I like the Pelt Chocolate Cow, Wasp & Tiger, & the Akro silver oxbloods, there's a couple Chrissy's in there I like too. I have a few Vitro but don't collect them, Aquamilk is a proper Vitro name.

# 14 also resembles a Vacor IMHO, the orange peel texture and ribbon structure is wrong for Pelt & are Vacor traits. Pricing is all a matter of perspective, Ebay is a bad place to base any type of pricing on. The prices are all over the map & I see marbles daily selling as something they obviously aren't, people are simply buying into the sellers jargon. That being the reason we have "Reputable Sellers" their pricing is current market, many of the sellers start @ $9.99 or less & let the marble sell itself, the Ebay list are here @ the top on the menu to @ least partially protect our board members from all the scammers. If you can possibly make it to a show you'll find 99% of the people are honest & will work w/ you & try to give you a hand in your pricing & or selling endeavors. # 11 " Pink Panther" is Vacor IMHO, something w/ the structure & color is off, Pink Panthers are VVVHTF, the rest are Pelts. LINK :: https://www.peltiermarbles.info/rare

A lot of the old German boxes looked just like that w/ the steel staple construction along w/ a stamp, "Germany" of course. Probably a few other countries did the same ?? Thanx for the extra pix Art

The one on the far (R) is an Alley IMO, no specific name to my knowledge.

Not mine (I wish) A 1 & 1/4" handgather, I thought I'd throw this in because of the size, condition and rarity for a good look see. Sold for almost $500.00 several years ago.

Agree, a 9.9 will basically be defect free, whether from the factory or not, condition, condition, condition, the three c's of marble desirability & evaluation. Then comes rarity. I wish I could help ya out but I'm simply in no position right now, maybe a consignment type sale would be good for you, I'll do a little diggin & see who I can come up with ?? There are several reputable Ebay sellers that buy & sell on a commission type basis. There are a few on this board that may be able to point you in the correct direction. Patience, a lot of questions & a couple PM's are probably in order. -
Agree, MK Painted Turtle Cat eye, nice mib Brother
-
Nice box of treats Brother
-
Does the box have anything stamped on it ?? i.e. Country name ??
-
-
Pelt Wasp, Pelt Red Zebra, Pelt Tiger IMO
-
x2, agree w/ Steph, I think the Vacor is a Picasso IMO LINK :: https://www.billes-en-tete.com/detail.php?id=45
