  4. Thanks Ron 👊..so is it safe to say the earlier the marble the better chance of getting a true black because they were actually making the colors with a formula . Is that why some of the early marbles don't have the color bleeding 🤔 as you say whole milk vs 2% ..well since I'm asking ...is cullet what they bought from glass manufacturers ? Great thread ......👍

  14. I was waiting for you to add to the subject. I'm on the fence in a way . I like trivia and Ron's stated 3 company's made black. Fun question and I had a kind of cheet book in these pages.Seems to make sense because there are some marbles I have I would have sworn were black until you use a super bright light to show the real color sometimes on the edges but it may just be the way the glass overlays eachother....that said ..my pelts look black even under bright backlight. I have one C.A.C I believe that is a black base glass ...some of the pictures I've seen look to have black . Discussion brings answers. I value your knowledge thank you andkeep it coming. Lol....👍👊
