    Handed Down

I just wanted to share some of the items that have, little by little, been sent to me the last month from my big sister Nila. Our Father passed away this past August 26th and it's been a chore handling his estate, for the most part is in Pearl River, Louisiana. My sister is the Executor of his estate and has been passing many personal effects of my father's to me. But what I received Saturday blew my doors off. I never got to meet my Grandfather, he passed about 4 years before I was born. My father still had quite a bit of his personal items and keepsakes, most of which I had no clue existed. Hope you enjoy some of the cool stuff that has now become mine πŸ™‚
  3. Wanted to share images of some of the PeeWee marbles I recently acquired...have fun and post away your PeeWee pics!
  4. Lol, every time I come across some Bennie's, they get swiped. She saw those few pee wees I scored yesterday, really surprised they haven't "disappeared" yet lol
  5. Love it...good looking marbles indeed! Ravenswood it is... πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  6. My gal likes those little "eyes"
  7. Looking Pelt to me too...chance of a WVS but yeah, some more pictures of cutlines/seams would be cool πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  8. Yep, they didn't cost me too much...a really nice mix....I like the variety with the pee wees....I'll have to post some individuals soon...
  9. Haven't scored in the wild for quite some time, heck Haven't been hunting in a long time. Took a road trip to LaCrosse, Wisconsin yesterday for breakfast to a little Cafe called Rosie's (@Melissa not sure if you have heard of it or been there, but I recommend!). Breakfast for 3 around $43, the plates were humongous. Great service. Afterwards, hit a little antique mall and found these guys yelling "buy me" lol.... Added bonus was the Ball lighting jar and the 1962 tin the marbles came in...the Jim Beam decanter just caught my eye, couldn't go wrong for $2.50 on that? First plate are all peewees.... Fun day πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  10. Akro for sure....as I have said before, McCracken comes up with some nice lookers when he posts... πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž

  15. That's me too...I used to know and remember alot of maker's marks...not so much anymore lol...I used to do ebay way back before it became Feebay, dealing with tons of antique this and that. Did sport's cards for 30+ years. Now in recent years, back into glass, mainly Slag samples from Imperial along with Akroware and of course marbles! Loving it
  16. Either way I'm close...and that could be the gamechanger since you say that... then the odds would heavily favor Brockway... Others will chime in... Be Cool! πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  17. I'm thinking Boyd....earlier pieces were not encircled...had to think about that for a few!
  18. Could be Brockway...I thought maybe Boyd but the letter B is encased in a circle or Diamond (unless these are earlier pieces) Hmmmm....more opinions forthcoming I'm sure....πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
