  1. Ugh...I usually bounce back and forth between helmet molding and helmet surface prep. Well, hopped across the street to go solo (folks using up vacation time), with regards to cutting and sanding to discover that they are 2 days behind. What a mess to climb out of!
  2. Here's a celebration...Turkey Vultures on the water tower right behind my house "celebrating" the end of the rain so they can dry their wings This was the 21st.
  3. Went down to that quarry again along the Root River in Iowa this past weekend. Love the view around us! Hit some more Banders that I'll post soon... 👍😎
  4. I initially think the "third" color is just a fade out from the orange...
  5. I'd say 2, we'll see what others will say 👍😎
  6. Like Ron Shepherd told me when I first started, a person can study 7 days a week, hours each day, for many, many years and still be fortunate to identify 75% of what they are looking at. He's right. The best of the best will miss occasionally. It's going to happen. Just so much stuff out there. Twists and turns and rabbit holes, etc.... Alot of the time it works itself out in the end. Teamwork, multiple sets of eyes. That's what these folks are collectively good at IMO. Marbles! 👍😎
  7. "PPP"..."Peltier Peerless Patch" 👍😎
  8. "Helmet" is one of a few names collectors have for Tri-lite variations. What is and isn't called a Helmet can, from what I've encountered, be a little tricky sometimes. Someone could probably break it down way better than I, so hang in there. Nice marbles by the way. I probably would have called a few of them Helmets myself. It's maybe in the patch coverage for one thing...👍😎
  9. I might change my vote, after looking again, too Marble King on the first one....let's see what more input does 👍😎
  10. Looks like all 3 are Master. Almost leaned a different direction on the first one, but sticking with Master 👍😎
  11. Man, that's a lot of work. That stuff is tough to rip up, especially after it's been in place for many years. Feeling ya there! It's going to be so sweet when you reap the rewards of a new sanctuary area. I can just imagine some of the things I would do! Looking forward to future pictures!
  12. My Sunday's Best, this super nice pewter eagle flying over a very colorful sea of glass, Thank You, my friend 👍😎
