  1. Welcome to this new and exciting adventure that you may never be able to look back on eric L. Hold on to your seat and get ready to become a marble addict. Show us what you have and get hooked like the rest of us. Marble--On!!
  2. There is a book due out pretty soon from a dude in Alaska of all places--Andy--is his first name I believe. Keep your eyes peeled. Marble--On!!
  3. That is a funny thing. The more common blue and red PPP is hard to find with a comic--go figure! Thanks Chad--good stuff for sure!! Marble--On!!
  4. Those Akro that you have in the original post are not--too shabby as well! I just have to say this Pelts are cool-Akros are king!! Marble--On!!
  5. I do not believe that I have one like this--Very nice indeed! Marble--On!!
  6. I wish that I knew. Emma is common--but with color? All opinions are welcomed and needed. Here she is! Marble--On!!
  7. X2--Nice older one imho. Marble--On!!
  8. Or not--some folks like a good fracture--I do. Character in marbles is a thing that I have always looked for. “Mint” is not always the thing to rest on in the collecting world. Collect what you like and like what you collect—just never expect to make money on what you have collected, just have fun and pull the reigns in from the pocketbook. Marble—On!!
  9. Good job folks! We wore a newbie out. I cannot wait to see his next--when he catches his breath😉. Keep them coming!! Marble--On!!
  10. Nuf said😁! Marble--On!!
  11. This is a killer lot filled with very nice Akro marbles--I agree with Ric--more shots needed of the glower with the white stripe for sure. Marble--On!!
  12. Lets get a better look at this one--the black and white one--It may be a Peltier as well. Marble--On!!
  13. Wow--you are on the ball! This is just a killer marble--A WVS or West Virginia Swirl. I just suck at WVS ID--some one here will get it nailed down. The rest of your marbles in this post also deserve some great imaging as you have proved that you can do. The red and white ones to the right of this one are more than likely Peltier "Rainbos". Post them together. The rest may just be some very old slags. They deserve a seperate post for each. Marble--On!!
  14. AV is little sparkles in the glass that look to be metallic. A very bright light will reveal them as you move the marble in your hand around and around. It does appear to be a Peltier "Burnt Christmas Tree" to me. This style used to be called a "Miller Type". Beat up yes--still a nice find. I am guessing 3/4" with this one. Marble--On!!
  15. This is a great group of marbles but I will admit that my eye went straight to this one. Any time purple or pink hues are discovered it makes collectors wobble a bit. More images are needed here--the circled one. Marble--On!!
  16. That one sticks out like a sore thumb. I am not a name guy--maybe a "Burnt Christmas Tree". All are nice ones. Marble--On!!
  17. Yep--X3--this one feels big to me. Size always matter in Marble ID's. Marble--On!!
  18. Great post Illhavethat1! I would love to see some more of these used in specific ways. Show us what you have and be inspired by what you see. Speaking of claw feet! I could not pass on this one. The Ebay seller was smart enough to hook me into it calling it a marble holder he/she got me. I have no idea what the original purpose was. It has a kind of bisque ware feel to it. It is finished with my biggest corkscrew @ 1-3/8”—What else . Marble—On!!

    Mk?

Yep! It may be a killer Vitro "All-Red" though. Marble--On!!
  20. I agree--Nice corkscrew! The top and bottom right may be Jabo "Classics". Size always matters. Marble--On!!
  21. Ric is right on! Marble--On!!
  22. Agreed Ric--it reminds me of lead. Sizes always matter with marble Id’s. The penny and nickel work well—a calipers does the trick though. Get a plastic one from Amazon or Ebay and take a shot with them or just measure and list the measurement in inches please---Fractions and MM take too much time to cross reference for a lot of folks that would otherwise give you an ID. The stone ones are a hard ID for almost everyone. They are collectable as a display item for many folks—collected by very few marble collectors. The striped one on the top right may need more images—wait for more responses though. The “Germans”—the two lower left may need more images as well—wait for more responses though. I am a machine made guy. Marble—On!!
  23. Welcome to the best place on planet Earth to get a marble ID'd Tim. Bring them on--I cannot wait! Marble--On!!
  24. Good stuff! I wonder how many of us has some of theses packed away? I turned some into curtain rod ends. Marble--On!!
  25. X4. The penny and nickle is a good idea! Marble--On!!
