  1. That is a cool one. A WVS not a Jabo. More opinions will be coming. Marble--On!!
  2. From what I can see I would say Akro or Vitro--hard to tell really. Marble--On!!
  3. The blue ones remind me of those commonly found green colored “Industrial” marbles. They were full of folds and seam marks as well. As I recall they were ¾” plus and they were used in some industrial finish polishing of some type. I have never seen blue ones before though. Cool stuff. Marble—On!!

    Peltier?

    X3--nice find! Marble--On!!
  5. Yep--nice marble! Marble--On!!
  6. X2--What Ric said. Nice batch!! Marble--On!!
  7. Yep! Some of the nicest cats that were ever made imho. The colors that are invloved with these can be endless. Nice ID job my marble collecting friend! Marble--On!!
  8. Peltier--MCS or Multi Colored Swirl—Nice one—very attractive to my eye at least. I just love this color combo. Nice find! Marble—On!!
  9. The seams and the colors both. I have had enough of these big Akros in hand to know one when I see one. The lower left is a newer MK imho. MK made a lot of "Rainbows"--- the later they are, the less bands that they have. Many here can push it into a more subjective conclusion. The Vitro is just a gut thing—when in doubt ---go with your gut. Marble—On!!
  10. What a quote! Your phone has more computing power than the moon missions had. I could get a new PC for what they cost--lol. I still use a flip phone--rarely🥸. Marble--On!!
  11. Opinions are what drives this board--never be afraid to state one. You will not be beat down or chastised here for any opinion that you may have. If you ever are—it will be corrected post-haste. There are few marble experts here—just a bunch of seasoned collectors that learn something new every day. (There are some experts that post here but I will not name them because they are humble experts). Anyhow—your assessment was the thing that drove me to ID this one as a MK---good job---good eye!! Marble—On!!
  12. The site is listed by my browser ( I use a PC) as "not secure". It has been for awhile. I just click advanced and go there--no problems--just keep your back covered with anti this and that. Marble--on!!
  13. Nice images. I believe that the top two are Akro. The bottom left is a MK and the bottom right is a Vitro. All opinions are appreciated and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  14. These are tuff ones. WVS imho. Marble--On!!
  15. Here is my first brick. It was my Grandfathers. A first brick is always a good brick--I love the old beat up ones and I still rescue them from the dumpsite if no one else bids. Marble--On!!
  16. I use this stuff for rust spots with lots of water involved--the finer grit the better. https://www.amazon.com/Assorted-Flavored-Professional-Strength-Polish/dp/B00Z7YQ35A/ref=sr_1_7?crid=36YU16KGPGTJT&keywords=tooth+polish&qid=1679337347&sprefix=tooth+polish%2Caps%2C116&sr=8-7 Marble--On!!
  17. This is the way! I want them all to be Akro. Marble--On!!
  18. Kugler Glass?? Nice stuff Ron. Marble--On!!
  19. Nice find Mojo! I have never seen such a thing. Were they made in Mexico?? Marble--On!!
  20. Ooooh, this is a tuff one--it sure glows! The third image tells the tale for me. It could be a weak on the "white" hand-gathered slag---or not--I am a dreamer. Marble--On!!
  21. A small jar full of these non descript clays will go for $80 on Ebay as a decorative item. Non collectors eat them up for a display. The Benningtons are just a cool marble. They will go from under 1/2" to over an inch in diameter. They are fun to hold and handle and come in a variety of colors--sometimes three or more colors. The eyes are from the kiln “cooking” process where they were sitting against each other during the firing, the glaze that was applied just stuck to the one it was sitting next to. Who does not love a” bennie”? Marble—On!!
  22. No sorry here--if you wonder--post it--I do the same thing. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
