  5. Of course you are--you collect marbles--we are all crazy. The big one is a Vacor--Probably a "Polar Bear". Nice marble!! Marble--On!!
  6. Cheese got it right. These Alleys fooled some of the very best collectors for many years. Cheese amongst others here on the board (@Ric )went right down into the dirt to prove what is and what was not. My hat is off to the diggers once again—Thanks for all that you have done with dirt in the fingernails! Marble—On!!
  7. Nice marble, nice bubble, nice firebrick included! That is a huge bubble in a big marble. I am iterested to see the weight vs one with no bubbles this size--any maker will do. I just love this stuff! Marble--On!!
  8. Size always matters--this one matters for sure. Marble--On!! I blinked---many times--- Marble--On!!

  11. That is a nice WVS--no ID from me--lol. Marble--On!!
  12. Well, It is not a "Whispler" imho. The images are still hard to define. There do appear to be some possible “Pontil Marks”. Until you get a clearer image of the cutlines--- I will call this one a Master Made Marble. Marble—On!!
  13. Good! Keep on learning--this is the fun stuff! It is an Akro corkscrew. Nice one! Marble--On!!
  14. That is a very nice Master! Marble--On!!
  15. This is a great thread, let’s keep it great. You both have so much to offer. The newest generation of collector’s are like deer in the headlights trying to figure out what you are talking about. Consider a truce and get together to inform the new collectors of what the older collectables were—they are coming back sadly, because no one lives forever. The old collectables will become the new if the information is shared in a professional manner. You are both pros and respected in your own right. Like I said, you both have so much to offer—let’s get it on! Patience gets thin with age—not me—it just gets better. I am a great grandpa almost three times (next month makes three) Share what you know—just be nice is all that I ask. Treat us all like kids and explain what you would know as if to a seven year old. Thanks for all that you both have done for the community over the years and of course— Marble—On!!
  16. I agree that it is a Pelt Rainbo--"Muddy"? Backlight it, and backlight them all! A "Muddy" will have a semi-opaque base glass. The light will shine through somewhat and many will show some opalescence. I know, hard to determine with the red but give it a try. That is a very cool marble in my house at least. Marble--On!!

  20. What Tommy said X2. Marble--On!!
  21. I am leaning with AL. Marble--On!!
  22. I agree that yellow and white is a hard find. Take it a step further and some of them react to UV and some do not. The "Army Green" or olive drab on white seems to be a scarce one as well. These often have little green flecks of pigment often called aventurine. Common really, in the greens from all companies over the years. Marble--On!!
  23. #1—Nice Master! #2---Pelt Rainbo—nice find! #3---I agree with “No Idea”( maybe an Akro). #4--- Pelt Rainbo. Marble—On!!
