  2. There is something about a simple white slag that lights me up---not too common--just a great thing to hold and look at, look at --look at--look at--Mesmerizing in hand. Here are some images that are backlit--under UV and just plain light. This one is one inch Simple Simon—not!! Marble—On!!
  3. Here is a bigger one just a hair under One inch. Marble--On!!

  7. I agree--good luck for sure. I will stick around here regardless of your luck. This is the very best place on planet earth to get a marble identification . Hats off to all that stick it out and keep it real--right here. Rock on "Marble Connection". We may be old----the oldest---but old counts with marbles. Marble--On!!
  8. It may very well be a modern "Chinese type". Lets all take a closer look--this is not a common one if it is Chinese. Marble--On!!

  14. This is a tuf one. I do not know if I would call it a slag or a swirl---hmmm--CAC?? The blow out shows some pretty thick glass?? More opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  15. This is a funny thing Ric, You are right on track here with me today. The marbles shown are 15/16” to 7/8” and the smaller ones are 5/8” to 9/16”. The nets are not clamped, they are melted together at the bottom. I was just about request an ID on these nets that I recently aquired in a trade from overseas. cvdc showed these in this old thread that you posted. I show some images below. They are wirepulls—I had the same doubts as those that responded in this old thread. @Mojo may shine some great light on these. Marble—On!!
  16. Wow--Nice marble! Some direct sunlight will help with the ID. I worked on your second image--the best one imho. It appears to have some dark--almost black opaque along with some wispy blue or white and some transparent blue-ish glass as well. I would at this point call it a great Alley Agate, the jury is still out--more opinions are needed for sure. Get some more images--sunlight, backlit and under UV for a proper ID. Nice marble!! Marble--On!!
  17. Here are some more European marbles from a recent trade with a great collector friend. The first image shows some Euro “Patch and Ribbon types”. The second and third images shows some Euro “Two seam slags”. Love em! Marble—On!!
  18. This one is just over 7/8”. I cannot help myself with these—a new addition to the stable of “Muddies”. Marble—On!!
