  1. I just love backlighting Agates. The first two are 7/8’”. The third one is 3/4". Sometimes you can see the hit-marks in hand—sometimes not. Backlighting them will reveal their true nature and history. Have you ever wondered about the damage that you do not like on your favorite glass marbles, well these could have been the culprit. Glass killers these were. The last one is very tactile. I cannot member feeling the facets on an Agate like this before---very cool to feel them( for an old dude with crusty fingers especially ). This one had no hit-marks—odd really—to me at least. I wish that I could get an image of the facets on this one—it is just full of them. It appears to have some sort of inclusion in it--I am calling it a dinosaur bird finger bone. Enjoy and---Backlight them All!!!! Marble—On!!
  2. I just love it--almost a "Muddy"--a killer marble with pink involved. Marble--On!!
  3. Pretty cool schmoozer! Here are a couple of the Solar System from Vacor. Marble--On!!
  4. This is backlit Chad--from my old lightbox--there is some white light leakage. A new revelation though--some green showed up. It is not pollution. "Motor Oil" --Really??? This is why I ask for the experts. A new marble for me and a new name as well--bonus! Thanks all!!! Marble--On!!

  9. This one is just under 5/8”. I purchased it thinking “what a fool”—it is a Vacor—Not!!—My spider senses were working that day—LOL. You never know until you get it in hand do you? The white is Opal—I will never be able to prove it though—just my gut feeling and experience. The brown is actually transparent. If you back light this one it appears more of a red than a brown—I tried—could not get a good shot. This is my best—what do you all think?? I just love this stuff---a new one to me at least. Marble—On!!
