  1. Agreed Al--nice ID It is not mint--so few were--but in this color combo--not too shabby Nice find. Marble--On!!
  2. Killer marble! Cosmic Rainbo five fingered cat?? I have seen some pretty nice Cateyes before--this may be the best ever--Top Notch. It is not what I would consider as a normal Vitro Hybrid Cat--or even a special one--this one knocks out all contenders. It may have happened during a cross over from one type to another---well maybe--we were not there--just a best guess? The AV does not surprise me but it is an added bonus for sure. The color green in most makes and models of manufactured marbles will show a tendancy to have un-absorbed (is that a word?) minerals that were used in the recipe process. I know lighting is bad these day but I would love to see it in direct sunlight--at least through the window. Thanks for sharing this one. Marble--On!!
  3. Some blue--some pink?--Nice marble--consider Cairo. Lets ask @cheese for an opinion here. Maybe @Ric is around again, he knows his swirls very well. This is a nice one regardless of the maker. Marble--On!!
  4. Vacor Roosters--love em, These were and are made in a variety of runs and the colors that I show are just a small example of the shades and fill. Some of these base colors I could swear are orange. They all have one thing in common—the lack of a bubble filled base glass. The red is very clear and well made while the white has a tendency to run or melt/spread on the surface. The Vacor website claims that these have “Orange Swirls” but I have not seen any on the surface—just buried under the “Red”. I will include an image of akro vs these—the last one. Marble—On!!
  5. Good luck! That last image--just a very nice pelt--all are nice but this one is one that I have not seen before-- Very cool Tommy. Marble--On!!
  6. I am getting Vitro “Conqueror” vibes here. More opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble—On!!
  7. @Chad G.may have the answer here. The "ground" Pontil appears to have been melted too. The other side--the twist is more than likely melted also. Just mho-- Marble--On!!
  8. Different--I will just throw this out there--- Jabo--in the production days--made some pretty ugly big swirls--just sayin. Marble--On!!
  9. I agree with Vitro--I just cannot pin it down too close--"Trilite" of some form imho. Nice marble! Nice images--- Marble--On!!
  10. You did a good sorting job here. The first image deserves a better background--white or gray. Marble--On!!
  11. Ya never know do ya--Nice find!! Marble--On!!
  12. Nice images--Nice Jabo"classic"---one from the factory-not the "special runs". Marble--On!!
  13. This one is an Akro Patch imho. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  14. Well William--these images look pretty nice on a large screen PC imho-- The bad news is that this is a common WVS imho. Marble--On!!
  15. I am on the same limb Alan-- a weird one but a good catch and ID by you----great job--great eye. I think that this one is a crossover between a vacor "Zebra" and someting else that included some sparkle. This one was missed during quality control. A very rare Vacor imho. No name from me--- Marble--On!!
  16. Lets get this straight--"Imperial" did not make marbles---they were/are a jobber out of California--they did sell marbles for sure but they purchased them--repackaged them and sold them. Most are from Asian countries--a whole bunch of them--some may be from Mexico. Check out some Imps on e-bay and check the country of origin on the box. The Imperial name is one that has been used for many years—just not real though—just a re-seller. Marble—On!! I agree with Al here for sure-- Marble--On!!
  17. I get what Chad says here but many folks collect these screen printed logo types. It is not a bad thing to collect--just do not over pay is what Chad is saying here I am sure. I am forced not to get into these because the sky is the limit.....I like them for some reason--just holding back--a collectors demise for sure. Nice finds my marble collecting friend--collect what you like for sure. This type has been collected for many years--here is my best ever--- Marble--On!!
  18. I agree with Melissa here--the "master" looks more English than WV for sure. The "angry bird" is no doubt a name that you made up considering such (it does ring some Vitro bells for me at least). You should post that it is your name for this one. Marble--On!!
  19. Oooops!!!! I have to read more and judge less--Thanks Shamrock!! Good stuff for sure. Marble-On!!
  20. It is a Pelt imho--pretty weird. The money is up to the bidders--keep us posted Fire. Marble-On!!
  21. I will echo that statement for sure. Discussion is a great thing--lets keep it going here. Nice new images for sure. I think that it may be a Pelt--------------the op brown/white one----Woodie??? Marble--On!!
  22. The one that you show here is a Vitro "Conqueror" a nice marble but really quite common. Marble--On!!
  23. Not much I am afraid Catseyes are collectable-just not high dollar. Check out "Stephs study hall" to get a better Idea of what to post. https://marbleconnection.com/forum/20-stephs-study-hall/ Marble--On!!
  24. The black and white one I have not seen before--it reminds me of a "carpet ball". Oops, I take that back, there is one in "Everett Grist's Big Book of Marbles" He called them "Painted Chinas". The left and the right hand ones are called "Lined Chinas" or---"Painted Chinas" as is the flowery looking one. These were all hand painted--probably from Germany. Yes, the more fancy the more valuable—rarity is always a thing though—the black and white seems rare to me. You need some more opinions for sure. @bumblebee may have some insight here. Marble--On!!
  25. I am with Melissa here. Nice marbles for sure in the OP--no MK imho. Marble--On!!
