  1. Me too. The run is not a "run" the majority of what you show are Jabo "Classics" or marbles made by Jabo for general sales throughout the world. Machine made, factory made, production types. Just imho--more opinions are needed for sure and I appreciate them all. Marble--On!!
  2. Nice marble--nice find as well. I just love this stuff! Marble--On!!
  3. Thanks Cheese. Marble--On!!
  4. Cool stuff Fire--love them and that you kept them. Marble--On!!
  5. "Lined Crockery" Nice size. These came glazed and unglazed--older than Peltier for sure. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  6. I wonder what the one in the upper left is??? The white one thats shows two red stripes. Nice mix, I would call it a score. Marble--On!!
  7. I believe that it is--I think that I traded this one away--so not quite sure. Marble--On!!
  8. Of course they did--no argument here. I am glad to see the edit here Marble--On Cheese Commercial, in the earlier days did make their own glass--they had to. I am am glad to see that you edited as well Alan. I just love this stuff and I like to see that we can backoff and accept each others opinions. Marble--On!!
  9. Stay away is all that I can say-no CAC--maybe a Vitro---maybe-- Marble--On!!
  10. All dug as far as I know--nice lookers though. Marble--On!!
  11. I agree Al some really fine marbles. I wish that I could find a few more like this---maybe?? Marble--On!!
  12. It could be an Akro--I would sort it as a Vitro though. Marble--On!!
  13. This is my vision--- A youngster back in the 20-30's--male or female was playing with marbles in the living room. It was winter--just after Christmas. The house-cat got a-hold of one and it rolled down the cold air exchange and back into the coal fired furnace--Mom kept the cold air return quite clean back then. After an up-grade to a more affordable fuel oil furnace🥶😁. This marble was found. An Akro “Turquoise” slag. Yah, I dream about this stuff and have had it happen too. Just a dreamer-- Marble—On!!
  14. Nice "Parrot", The toe smashers are not easy to find with great coverage such as yours. Marble--On!!
  15. I have not posted this one for awhile--I call it elegant. I cannot recall the size--3/4"?? Straight on then backlit--Backlight them all! Marble--On!!
  16. I like this idea-- @Melissa ?? Marble--On!!
  17. The WVS are a sticky thing that I cannot get a grasp on--I just know one when I see them--the maker??--No luck here--so far. You are a respected member here and you know more than I can say in this limited text. No disrespect is intended. You already said your evaluation and I respect it along with the others that chimed in. You will step in where it is needed, that much I know. I respect all opinions and hope to see some more. Respect! Marble--On!!
  18. There are always exceptions Fire—this may or not be one of them. Marble—On!!
  19. I would wait for some more opinions before making any judgment. Marble--On!!
  20. Akro marketed "Cardinal Reds" in a box marked as such in both slags and corkscrews--be carefull while looking. Killer marbles, both of the styles. Marble--On!!
  21. Akro imho, I appreciate all opinions--especially when it is snowing out❄️. Marble--On!!
  22. No name, I am not going to disagree that this one is a Master Made Marble—nice bigger one. “Mica” the term is reserved for antique ( or newer) handmade marbles imh-experience. Aventurine has been reserved for “Machine Made” Marbles as far as I know. This one shows what looks like “Mica”—just unresolved or uncooked recipe glass. Pretty rare for Master Glass Made Marbles imho—they cooked their glass pretty long looking to match the hand-made’s of that era. I just love this stuff—really—nice marble Fire! Marble—On!!
  23. LOL--- I remember--I still use them. I would call it a Pelt before I called it an Akro--just me though. All opinions are appreciated and welcomed. Marble--On!!
