  2. When I see a request after this long I will either give my best or give it a Bump. The top left is a WVS imho--the rest are Jabo. I appreciate all opinions and welcome them. Marble--On!!
  3. My truth is that they could all be Alley Agate. My only question would be the one on the right. I really suck at WVS ID and all opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  4. Many times my marble collecting friend--good stuff!! Marble--On!!

  6. Check that Pelt peewee for AV Melissa--it could be a great one. Marble--On!!
  7. Oops I found one more from this weeks buys. This one is 3/4". Maybe the newer collectors do not like "Bricks"--I am OK with that--lol. Marble--On!!
  8. This one is not perfect @11/16" but for this day and age--not too shabby--I put it in the "Brick Drawer". I just love the original finish regardless of the hit marks. Those little dimples just make me smile ear to ear. Marble--On!!

  14. Back to the original post—Please. I do not think that you stepped on too many toes here. You have purchased a guinea marble enough said, It just is not a CAC Guinea. I have purchased fake guinea’s myself. I know what the originals are; I just get them for future ID. I remember back when I was about 17 years old. I purchased a Van Gogh that I thought might be an original print—“Sunflowers”. LOL I still love it but I learned a lot after that purchase. Guinea’s are probably the most imitated marble ever known. Every glass maker that knows their stuff probably has tried to make one. As far as rarity—yep they are rare if you compare them to an Akro “Egg Yolk and Oxblood”. There are plenty out there yet, you just have to learn the trade. I hope that you did not jump on this one with too many dollars. My first purchase of what I thought was a CAC guinea was about forty years ago—it was a very dusty Vacor—lol. Live and learn my marble collecting friend. Let’s just keep it nice, we all are here to help—not discourage in any way. We have all suffered defeat and we have all learned from it. Imho yours is a nicely made USA torch made guinea, someone tried very hard. Marble—On!!
  15. Just corks?--never just! Marble--On!!
  16. There are no "stupid marbles"--just stupid buying and stupid selling. I prefer the stupid sellers myself--lets just call them uninformed instead of stupid. I have preyed on them for years--still do. Collecting marbles is an art form that takes a whole bunch of research and experience. I will always continue to learn and prey on the uninformed--This is the way! Marble--On!!
  17. The finish on this marble makes me lean towards a foriegn maker--maybe England, maybe Asian. I appreciate all opinions. Marble--On!!
  18. The bottom one and the top right one appear to be Vacor “Fiesta”. The top left I cannot come up with a name on—No Atmospheres are in the image though. Marble—On!!
  19. Oops--maybe I missed it--I am an Akronaut--still a great group and worthy of the "Study Hall". I am guilty of not looking at dates, sizes--descriptions---lol. Marble--On!!
  20. #1,#2,#62 #95 This clears up a lot of questions for me. I really appreciate the effort and I hope that @Steph will have permission to put these where they belong—in the “Study Hall”. Great job Ric!! Marble—On!!
  21. Ok--I had to look it up I will admit. I like it----This is a great indication to the fact that you get it---we all do and always have. Marble on and just do your best--that is all that any of us can do. Great term--first time for me in marble collecting--keep them coming!! I Love it--as I do all of this stuff!!
