  1. On the Header---- Those little cats that look like a dog just blow me away. A future t-shirt perhaps? If any one has a great image of the little cat/dog please post it. I just love this stuff!! Marble--On!!
  2. I wish that @Melissa or @Joe2 would chime in here. this may be a rare marble. These two know their stuff for sure. Marble--On!!
  3. Sorry for the late response Ric. I have been practicing with Sciatica lately. ( it does sound like a rock band name) No complaints here—I had just a blast playing High school football—a long-long time ago. Yes I agree with the ID—“Melon Ball”. Still a cool find from years ago. Marble—On--- and Thanks for the correction.
  4. Vacor "Duke"--there has to be another name for them---??? Marble--On!!
  5. Just a very cool Akro Patch. Marble--On!!
  6. This is a great find--packed full of Akro . Only in my dreams 😍. Marble--On!!
  7. They are not "Furnace types" imho. Not all game marbles are created equal or solid in color. You may have some of those here. Some of these may be Champions--maybe all. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  8. Well, it appears to be handgathered. Same animal imho. Marble--On!!
  9. What Melissa says X2. Marble--On!!
  10. Not a corkscrew imho. Stiil might be a nice no white showing slag though. Marble--On!!
  11. The glass looks pretty clear. The older Asian market usually used recycled glass which gave the clear glass a ‘Coke Bottle” color of sorts. I thought that it may be a marble made for some manufacturing market at first but those usually show up with not so clear and slightly colored glass as well. “Cleary” is the best that I can come up with. Marble—On!!
  12. Corn Husk? Why do I just love them? So a Corn Husk just has one swirl right? Simple beauty. Marble--On!!
  13. Size alway matters! Ravenswood made more 9/16" marbles than any other company--this is the thing. @Ric is a good one to ID these and I will call him out here. Marble--On!!
  14. No Pelts here imho--both are "Allreds" from the Vitro plant. The one with the deep black is pretty cool! These are common but yours are stellar. Marble--On!!
  15. I just love these little Clearies Why--- because I did my due diligence searching “common lots”. I just love finding what should not be there. These two are just less than 5/8”, what a pair of beauties! Marble—On!!!
  16. Nice find davesnothere ! This one wants to be a slag for sure--WVS imho. Marble--On!!
  17. Nice find--I agree. Marble --On!!
  18. I think slag-like Ric--probably an Akro. Marble--On!!
  19. The salesmens cases that I have seen do not list anything under 9/16". That being said--the Popeye boxes that we are all familiar with did include one "peewee" patch. It was placed on top of the pouch in the original sale. I believe that it was called a swee-pea by collectors named after Popeyes little adopted son. If Akro made 9/16" marbles there are bound to be a few that are smaller, just a result of the marble making process. Of the older companies, Peltier is the only one that I know of that actually produced peewee marbles. Marble--On!!
  20. Bring them on William! Marble--On!!
  21. No Oxblood imho--just a great marble! Marble--On!!
  22. Too many companies made this color combo to be sure about it. It may just be a great Champion---or not. It appears to be out of round--is it? Nice find non the less. Marble--On!!
  23. The first two appear to be "Yashuda Type " handgathered marbles. The third one is more than likely a dug marble from the Alley digs--very different but it looks like a WVS pattern to me. Al opinions are appreciated and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  24. I am looking at the damage. This appears to be a well made--well cooked vintage marble that saw a lot of play. Not all slags will show white on the exterior--this may be one of those. In hand is always better but I think that you may have an Akro Slag there. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
