  3. Right on imho. A real beauty— Marble—On!!
  4. I am referring to the very first image. That is no pontil that I am familiar with--I rarely step in on any German Handmade posts but I know a blow out when I see one and that is what I see. Please correct me if I am wrong but good money thrown at bad marbles is what we are about here. My vote is stay away---- it is a contemp. Marble—On!!
  5. That is a very nice Rainbo that is out of control imho. It is worth every penny as well. I apprecate all opinions and welcome them all--yes I did place a bid-- Marble--On!!

  9. Me too, I could just see me rubbing my feet on it after a hard day---Then washing the marbles and enjoying them as what they are. "Benies" the Chickadees’ of the marble world, who does not love them. Come to think of it, some big old marbles rolled under my feet right now would feel pretty good Marble—On!!
  10. Vitro "Helmets" were ID'd way back as Akro--before the digs. Same thing just new info. Nice marble--Probably an Akro. Marble--On!!

  15. This is a nice cat Kimberbugs--very nice. The blueish cast to the base glass makes me think Japenese. The Japenese marbles are not usually this thick. I am not able to give a good ID--Just this--a real keeper! Marble--On!!
  16. This one is just over ¾”. I have compared this one to three other marbles weight wise expecting it to be lighter. I compared it to a Banded agate, an Akro Oxblood and Lemonade and an old German that are all within very-very close measurement of the one in question. I expected the Gutta? to be lighter----not Here are the results. Gutta? 14 grams Banded Agate 12 Grams Akro 10 Grams German 9 Grams I know, who in the heck weighs marbles—I do—“Gutta Percha” are made with Paper Mache as far as I know. This one came from a reputable person from an overseas trade. No description was with it. Let me know what you all think! Thanks and--- Marble—On!!
  17. Vacor--I agree. I wish that I could give you a name. It is a very nice large example--the big ones will have a tendancy to act differently--usually to the worst end--yours is to the best end. Marble--On!!
  18. Thanks all, Akro it is! Marble--On!!
  19. OK, not fake. I apreciate all of the input. Marble--On!!
  20. 23/32”—size always matters—LOL. This is a nice patch that is just filled with AV. Maybe a relative to those over the top Masters that show no patch structure. Tell me what you think. Marble—On!!
  21. These are cool—of course they are---- I purchased them😁. This is a new thing for me—fake dug marbles. I believe that these were torched and melted down for the final effect. The flat one had a finish on it which I scraped off with my finger nail. It looks much better without it. (I can still see a few hit marks under the surface) They came from a reputable seller that also questioned them—“may be dug” was in the title. This is a cool idea with a nice finished product—who does this stuff?? Have you ever seen it before?? Marble—On!!
  22. Very cool my marble collecting friend! Marble--On!!
  23. Nice shot of the new one--now I am thinking Akro. Cool and different looking marbles for sure. Marble--On!!
