  1. I can eat these all day Chad. My oldest son raises a few chickens for eggs. His daughter( my grandaughter) was overnight last Friday and she just loves my pancakes from scratch--one egg was a double yolker. ( I am not a pancake guy--but I guess that I can make them well). I just purchased a new "Hex Clad" 12"pan and I woud have never imagined it cooking pancakes in it for the first time--it turned out to be a good test. They do get hot and they do not stick--turn the temp down for sure. I use the basic pancake recipe from "The Joy Of Cooking" recipe book. Killer book for sure. My Daugher -in Law took the remainder home and she said that she eats them cold. I just love this stuff! ( not pancakes though)
  2. Welcome to "TheMarbleConnection" KCBB. @Ponjong is right on the money imho. Nice marbles! Marble--On!!
  3. Nice display for sure. The glass ten cent marbles box has me wondering? Pretty cool imho. The “Sailor Boys” I am not familiar with. Nice stuff—great work! Marble—On!!
  4. They are of course marbles with a hole through them. I do not know the process here--how the holes were made. I can see "Lady Gaga" wearing these for sure. Nice stuff! Marble--On!!
  5. Thanks et cetera, I have not heard of "Teal" Akro slags before this post from you. I have never seen one before--good eye--great name. Marble--On!!
  6. La Crosse, Wisconsin is a great place to visit. Melissa is closer I think than I am, but I have visited there for one thing and one thing only –Antiques. These cities along the Mississippi river are a gold mine for cool old stuff from all over the world.
  7. This one is a wvs. I have not seen a Jabo like it--just sayin. I cannot name it. I respect all opinions and hope to see some more. Nice marble!
  8. Ummmm--MK is not what I would call it. This one needs some natural sunlight. Any Marble that shows pink is rare--well, before the Jabo Contracts at least. This is Pre-Jabo imho. Nice marble--more images are needed. Marble--On!!
  9. Just to be aware--this freezing method is only good for sauces. I run them under warm water, get the skins off along with the stem end and cook them down. Rubber gloves saves you from getting any freezer burn on your fingers. A food mill removes the pulp and seeds very niclely.( go ahead and put this disregarded stuff in your mulch and begin picking tomato weeds all year long) I would give you my recipe but it is quite personalized regarding sizes and measurements according to what I have used in the past. Eat food on!!
  10. One of mine too. Taco's--sounds great--I love a good fish taco but it just grosses my wife out for whatever reason so I wait until she is on a "Vacation" then I eat them up. I cook on the weekends and tommorrow I will be making Freezer Spaghetti sauce and probably be ordering Pizza for supper. I use tomatoes from the garden. I just freeze them after I clean them and cook them down into a sauce that is just killer. These whole frozen tomatoes are very easy to peel under hot/warm water--the skin just falls off. Sunday will be a mushroom pasta---yum. Eat on!!
  11. I would sort it as an MK. A later version imho. I am not an expert with names or MK marbles but @Melissa is for sure. Marble King marbles will show up plenty with blow holes. I do not know if Pelt is first or second regarding blowouts, CAC would be a close third imho. Nice find and a good ask. Marble--On!!
  12. Chad has the grit ot take on any ID. Our old friend Ron knew that @70% with marble ID's you were doing pretty well. Chad is right there for sure. Marble--On!!
  13. A very cool find my marble collecting friend.. I wish that I had one--- Marble--On!!
  14. I would sort this one as an Akro Patch. The "Tri-Colored" patches would often show up with two colors instead of three--always on a white base that is deep and far from being "Veneered". Akro did make some pretty boring marbles that have been passed up by the masses that expect a return in dollars. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Nice find! Marble—On!!
  15. Been there done that😁. Nice marble! It is a wvs imho with some nice depth in the non-white. I wonder if it is a Ravenswood? More opinions are needed and I respect them all. Lets call in @cheese for an opinion here. Marble--On!!
  16. I agree with all that has been said so far. The first one seems a bit washed out and may need some sunlight to get to a final evaluation. Marble--On!!
  17. I would sort this one as a vitro. I think that is falls a bit short of any named marbles. @Ric is my go to with weird Vitros. Nice marble--quite a cool Vitro imho--nice big one too. Marble--On!!
  18. The digs from Akro produced many of this type--hard to ID but fractures were included. It would be way too easy to call this one a Pelt because of the bubbles included and I reward any one not thinking this way. We older folks have had much more access to true dug marbles from Akro--one of the very first sites dug. I would call this one an Akro with no problem. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  19. Killer images--backlight it and be rewarded. Akro X3. Marble--On!!
  20. Tomato in my world--lol. These smaller marbles, when you press them with light, will get your mind swirlling. This one may be what you think or what I think--a good version of researching marbles right down to the bone--good job! A game marble. marble--On!!
  21. Jabo imho--a "Jabo Classic". I had to look back at the size--these kinds of swirls and coverage are more likley to be found in a much larger Jabo. I may be wrong so I invite @Nantucketdink to throw an opinion in here. Marble--On!!
  22. Yep--cool marble Asian imho. Marble--On!!
  23. It is not a Jabo---we all seem to agree with that. Dimples, like the ones that you see in the third image--the right hand image, are not too common with newer marbles for whatever reason. I would sort this one as an Akro. It would be one of a row of ten in a box of 100 patches. Nice marble regardles of the id. Marble--On!!
  24. It is an Akro all day long for me. It is just not a real strong contender--very cool find though. @Melissa post a few of these in her favorites post within the last day or so. These showed up in the later day Akro Boxes, the ones without any staples in the corners. Probably a #300. Here is one that I have that is close to yours. Marble--On!!
