This is a funny thing Ric, You are right on track here with me today. The marbles shown are 15/16” to 7/8” and the smaller ones are 5/8” to 9/16”. The nets are not clamped, they are melted together at the bottom. I was just about request an ID on these nets that I recently aquired in a trade from overseas. cvdc showed these in this old thread that you posted. I show some images below. They are wirepulls—I had the same doubts as those that responded in this old thread. @Mojo may shine some great light on these. Marble—On!!

Wow--Nice marble! Some direct sunlight will help with the ID. I worked on your second image--the best one imho. It appears to have some dark--almost black opaque along with some wispy blue or white and some transparent blue-ish glass as well. I would at this point call it a great Alley Agate, the jury is still out--more opinions are needed for sure. Get some more images--sunlight, backlit and under UV for a proper ID. Nice marble!! Marble--On!!

Here are some more European marbles from a recent trade with a great collector friend. The first image shows some Euro “Patch and Ribbon types”. The second and third images shows some Euro “Two seam slags”. Love em! Marble—On!!

This one is just over 7/8”. I cannot help myself with these—a new addition to the stable of “Muddies”. Marble—On!!

I do not split hairs as a collector—this one is just over ¾”. A nice Pelt Zebra with AV. One bid--a great bottom feeder find! I just love this stuff!! Marble—On!!

Are those Artichokes?? Very cool garden crop--I wonder if Wisconsin can grow them---I have some relatives of Artichokes in the garden. Thistles👀.

If you never saw an Eagle snatching a fish out out the water in northern Wisconsin--you might think that. Many moons ago I saw this within 100 feet, back when they were quite rare. The fish was struggling to get away--A nice Pike--around 30 inches. Eating fish laced with DDT is what almost killed them off. We used to ride our bikes through that crap when the city sprayed for skeeters🤢. Later that same day we checked out a Golded Eagle nest with hatchlings--very cool and rare. Eagles on!!! Turkeys are for the Table--LOL.

Just based on the fourth image I would call it an "Akro from the digs". Ric may be right though. An "Alley from the digs". Marble--On!!

Thanks for this great info Mojo--Fire vs flood---I was way out there😁. Marble--On!! -
I may have seen it without knowing it. I doubt that is displays as shown in this add. If it was a Marble King produced item--there would be some ID on the cover at the very least. (you know that "Berry Pink" would be all over the cover) Nice advertisement piece Ric! MNarble--On!!

If it was 3/4"--or .750--I would pay up at $35.--not a penny more. These are very nice to look at---and shine black light on! This is a nice marble--no doubt. Marble--On!!

There are few here that will quote a price----if these were mine, and I was a seller—I would start at $20 and hope for the best. Marble—On!!

Here I go--quoting myself again. Marble—On!!

As I recall---There was a man in Germany on the border with the Netherlands’ that made a wide variety of these. Sadley, his place burnt down never to be seen again. @Mojo will bring this story to life once again. I will post a few more here. Marble--On!! -
Look up Steely Torpedo on the Vacor site—very intense-I have never seen one. The OP are more than likely a version of the new age Vacor Meteor. Marble—On!!
