  1. What is this? All this attention for a Bennington? Absolutely right—I love-em. This one is just under 1 ¼”—a biggie. It may have been made in Germany---or not—. Collect what you like and ---- Marble---On!!
  2. Our old friend Ron was into these things. Search for his posts and get some more info. This one looks pretty good to me at least. Marble--On!!
  3. It is just the lighting--we can all agree to disagree. I appreciate all opinions. Marble--On!!

  10. I can respect that and I respect the way that you have replied to some negativity. You have kept your cool and I for one, appreciate it. Marble--On!!

  13. Pelt Tomato marbles. Here is the crop and the seed--LOL. Marble--On!!
  14. These patches are hard to find at 3/4". Most of them seem to be 9/16"( or under) or around 7/8" to one inch. 5/8" are not an easy find----believe it or not. I have hunted these for years for 5/8" marbles--I still need some. Nice ones--they came in a variety of colors and a variety of fill with the oxblood, the blue and ox appear to be the most common--to me at least. Marble--On!!
  15. Hang in there Annie--you will get it figured out--I am sure of it. I cannot wait to see it--Patience my friend---and by the way--- Welcome!! Marble--On!!
  16. Trust--enough said. Good luck and continue to grow your reputation. I wish you well. Marble--On!!
  17. Open them or not--I would open them. They are very cool.----They are very cool to hold and look at once they are cleaned. Marble--On!!

    My Garden

Ontario Smoke from the wild fires. This smoke is coming from the North-East of me--very weird, as it has been all year. These shots show what should be a cloudless--blue sky. I have had 1 1/2" of rain since the last snowfall---a long time. My well is taking a pounding. I collect rainwater for my gardens--not much so far---Uggggh. This is called gardening--not growing--I am doing my best this year. Garden on!!
  19. I think that you are on the right track--nice color! Marble--On!!
  20. yep! Thanks for sharing--Top Notch! Marble--On!!
  21. Nice images Shazzy. The green one is odd to me. I have not seen many like that. It may be a Bennington, or a glazed clay of some other sort. Bennies usuall have some sort of eye on the surface. The happened because they stacked them so close when they fired them that the glaze left a mark where they touched. The bottom one is a clay of some other sort imho. Marble--On!!
