A killer Jabo "Contract" run marble--the run eludes me. Maybe @Nantucketdink will chime in here. Marble--On!!

Size always matters--lol--with marbles and an ID. Veiligglas marbles come in a variety of sizes that I will defer to @Mojo for. Marble--On!!

I am burning money right now Fire but I think that you are right on--next FB for sure. Marble--On!!

Not a Master William. Image one and image ten show blow out holes-- from production---not too common in a Master Made Marble--or a Master Glass Marble. Not really too common in a Vitro either for that matter--but more so imho. (Maybe its a Pelt)---not. Marble--On!!

This may be hard for anyone to believeâbutâChadâs marble and mine may be from the same production run, not the same run of colorsâjust the same run. The machines/ovens kept running until they broke down for whatever reason. Production was never stopped to change size or colors--- back then at leastâand more than likely now as well. âKeep them runningâ is in the mind of any production team. Color changes and variations are more common than anyone may think. The rollers kept rolling, the furnace gases kept cooking, the workers kept working and the colors were bound to change over timeâuntil something broke. This was a time for a size/color changeover, when it broke or wore outânot during production. It was not about âpretty marblesâ so much as it was about keeping costâs low. The lucky few of us that have nice âHybridâ Pelts or other makers may understand this a bit better. All companies did this and this is why all companies have some very weird and rare marbles. Some of the manufacturers had quality control that picked these crossovers out better than othersâsome just let them go. These posted are mostly Akro and they sure as heck could have come from the same âRunâ. I call them âUniquesâ but there is nothing unique about them. Just my thoughts--- MarbleâOn!!

So confused with slags and swirls Part 2
akroorka replied to The Nickel Guy's topic in Marble I.D.'s
I agreeâpretty common swirls that many companies made. Check # 4 for any UV reactionâit may be a Pelt imho. The other two (#1 and #2) may also have some UV reactionâprobably Akro imho. Keep on keeping on and you will get it eventually. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some moreâ MarbleâOn!! -
#1 may be a swirl--#3 is probably a Pelt--- #5 looks to be"handgathered"--maybe a MFC. The rest are more than likely Akro imho. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more-- Marble--On!!

Whisplers--agreed! Marble--On!!

I am seeing Jabo here--lets get @Nantucketdink involved. Marble--On!!

Wow--how do you make a round marble look flat?? There are plenty of "dug" Germans in the market--your first may be one--it does not look like "Play wear" to me. The second one is --well--pretty nice looking. Marble--On!!

I do not see any AV--some bubbles may fool you. I would sort this one as a Vacor "Twister". Nice marble! Marble--On!!

Consider Champion here----- Marble--On!!

Vacor imho. The first one looks like a âJupiterâ that has not been âfrostedâ. The second one looks like an âArctic Bearâ that has not beenâ frostedâ. The names are unknown to me but I am getting Vacor vibes for sure. @Mojo and @Melissa may be able to straighten me out here. Marble--On!!

I agree that except for the last imageâall are âWhisplersâ. Good call Fire!! MarbleâOn!!
