  1. Welcome Tshaws! We are happy to see what you have. Marble--On!!
  2. I think that you have a Master Made Marble there--not Master Glass. I have not seen many "mistake" Master Made Marbles but I think that you have one there. It has a fold which is rare to find imho. As far as glow goes, it would not surprise me at all. They may not all be the prettiest or the most collectable but I have always appreciated the quality, you can feel it in hand. I have found very few beat up Master Mades, they took a licking for sure. Nice find! Marble—On!!
  3. This is the way! I love trading with fellow collectors. Postage-is the only cost and you gain a bunch of knowledge for free. Gain some friendship in this hobby that drives us all nuts and be rewarded. I have never made a bad trade—ever. These are from one of my best trading partners/friends that I will never meet eye to eye but would trust with my favorite dog—(my kids are all too old) Marble—On!!
  4. Well, this is just a great group. I have never held an Exotic before this bunch was gifted to me. Marble--On!!
  5. See the little white hit marks in the last image? This one is a Jabo—production made not contract made. These production made Jabo were prone to hit marks like this, either from being wrestled around in the bag/pouch or from production error’s. If you find a large one like this without these little white hits, it is a keeper. Jabo production marbles in this size came in a great variety of color combos. Some are awesome—some just suck. Marble—On!!
  6. This looks like it has more that one line of Ox to me. Get a very bright light on it to see the depth. Nice cork! Marble--On!!
  7. Jabo#3--pretty cool though! Marble--On!!
  8. X2. Nice looker though! Marble--On!!
  9. I am OK with calling your last images Japenese. The red and white may be a question--- Marble--On!!
  10. The reds show up as orange as do some of the ambers. It is always a tuff call to call one orange. Marble--On!!
  11. Not messed up imho. Just a nice example of a not too bright one. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  12. This is a new name to me for sure. There are Vitro "Exotics"--hard enough to find. Marble--On!!
  13. Your images do not show true red to me. If you are really conviced that that are two colors here--it has to be a CAC. It is a slag, no doubt here. An orange slag would be a bonus--very rare. Regardless of the maker imho. More images are needed and more opinions as well. Marble--On!!
  14. This one reminds me of some of the "newer" non-clay marbles that are/were being sold--plastic or mastic of some sort. The colors do not line up with what I have seen in books as "Lined Crockery". It sure looks like it has a kiln fired glaze. Perhaps @bumblebee or @hdesousa can chime in here. Marble--On!!
  15. Never forget that Pelt made slags as well. They are noted for the "Feathered" ones but many of them can be confused with the other makers. There has been controversy surrounding the earlier ones that Pelt Made. Are they CAC or Pelt—so on and so on. The Akro hand gathered also had some controversy surrounding them. In the early Days Akro did sell some MFC made slag marbles. There is always the possibility that the tail that you show was a result of a machine made marble and its workings. Akro made millions of slag’s and anything may have happened during the manufacture of these. It is a very cool marble—slag’s can be very hard to pin down sometimes. Marble—On!!
  16. A first for me--very nice Melissa! Marble--On!!
  17. Welcome Heather woods! Pricing is not a common thing to see here but you never know. We all like to ID marbles though. post 3-4 at a time with multiple images of different sides of the marbles. Marble--On!!
  18. I would sort these as Akro purple slags--just sayin. Marble--On!!
  19. This combo steers me away from Jabo for some reason. I think that you have a WVS here of some maker. I will say Champion just because I do not hear about them enough--ever. Maybe @cheese will give us a clue. Marble--On!!
  20. Back off my marble collecting friend! The one that you want is not worth it. it has some folds as far as I can seen--not mint but maybe mint with folds if that is a thing? The rest may be worth $100 imho. Marble--On!!
  21. I read both boxes as legit--hardly touched—close to mint and missing a few that may have been backfilled with others—just a few. The dividers look legit to me because of the bruising (little rub marks from the marbles back and forth action) that I have experienced with boxes in the past. The dividers also show as almost mint with some of the original hairs from being cut visible. If these were only from the good old USA I would jump on them. I would not even think about a purchase. Just because of the origin. I do gamble with ‘marble purchases’—all of the time—not these two sadly. This is my humble opinion. Marble—On!!
  22. Hey Joe2, A nice response for sure and I appreciate it without a doubt. This is just for the education of the uninformed that may read this. The term used by collectors as “single seam” is a misnomer. These single seams are more often than not described as CAC “single seam marbles”. They may be called “Diaper Folds”as well. All glass marbles will have two cutoff points; they have to have two if you do any research into the production of these very desirable little orbs. A glob of glass has to be cutoff at two points—this is just the way. The only exception may be torch made marbles—only because I am not very familiar with this method. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  23. I do not think that it a Jabo--a WVS of some make. Maybe some one else will chime in here. Marble--On!!
