  9. MFC?? Probably not imho. The color is rare from all makers. CAC, Akro, and Peltier as well. That big cut mark in image’s two and ten shy’s me away from it being a hand-gathered slag. This one may be an Akro— I appreciate all opinions and respect them all. More are needed for sure Marble—On!!
  10. AkroX2 Nice looker as well! Marble--On!!

  16. A bumble-bee indeed. These used to be so common that many of us threw them aside unless they were dead mint. I have always loved this version of MK marbles. Girl Scouts were alway my fave. Nice find!! Marble--On!!
  17. These can be an attractive part to marble collecting or collectors. Defects are highly collectable in monetary collections--why not marbles? Not all of us can afford high end marbles and I will not pretend to be a high end collector. I just love a good Jabo “Butt Crack”. Here is one that I received in a recent trade. It is a 2/3rds butt crack staring right at you--I just Love it!! Collect what you like and of course-- Marble—On!!
  18. They may be Japanese Dave. After WW2 the Japanese were using a bunch of recycled glass which resulted in the " Ball Jar" looking transparent glass. The one with the spider web looking white is very cool—a first for me. These may well be over 70 years old. Pretty common--but old. These are the marbles that shut down the USA Marble makers. Cheap and they flooded the market. Marble—On!!
  19. Great cats Ric--orange and white are not in my stable--luv em!! Marble--On!!
  20. I would pay up regardless of the ID ( I am leaning MK) Marble--On!!
  21. Nice one Chad--I like your new avatar by the way. Not quite a "thumb-pot"--except for us with potato fingers--lol. Nice find!! Marble--On!!
  22. X2 --nice one!! Size?? Marble--On!!
  23. Perhaps our Dutch friend @Mojocan help with this one. I agree with Chad--it does look like an iridescent finish to me as well--machine made--no doubt. Marble--On!!
  24. Join the club Djp5690. I have dropped more marbles than I care to admit. I put a nice big Pelt cubscout through the washing machine, check those pockets-lol (It was clean and it missed going into the dryer). I have a carpet in my marble room and a rubber cow mat in the basement where I take images but marbles are attracted to concrete in a funny way. I agree that you have a very nice slag there. There are many so called experts but few that can actually ID a CAC slag like this. I recenty got one in a trade that is the same color that I swore was an Akro--turns out it came from a Pelt dig. I would be proud to own yours as an Akro--nothing wrong with that. The mixed up marbles--well live and learn and accept it as a learning experience. I am confidant that you will figure these out. Marble--On!!
