  1. Well, I like it, the defects included. Not a Jabo imho. A wvs of some make or model. Marble--On!!
  2. Ric has it right--the Master part imho😁. Marble--On!!
  3. Hmmm---this one crosses some lines between a Swirl and a Patch. I think that tis may be a Vitro "Patch type"-an older marble. Nice white!! Marble--On!!
  4. No difference imho. Just the two more likely to show them. Akro and Master Made Marbles made some of the finest marbles ever--they were in competition for the roundest marbles with the fewest flaws. Just try to “feel” the imperfections that the eye can see—the “lashes”. They wanted them to be as round as round could be just hard/soft enough to take hits from a stone Agate—very few glass marbles could stand up to an Agate for very long in any competition. ( Steelie’s yes—mostly ball bearings from the local area shop that used ball bearings---cheating imho although some were marketed as marbles) Just my opinion but Master Made Marbles stood up better than Akro marbles. They took quite a beating for a glass marble vs stone/agate. "Shoot Straight as a Crow" meant as straight as a Crow flies. Both of these companies were in direct competition with the original Stone Agates which for the most part at that time were all hand ground—but very round and true. The price of glass marbles eventually pushed the agates out of any competition—even though they were better. Most “Agates” came from Germany—many came from California. ( The term “Agate” was applied to most glass marbles of one design/manufacture or another as a result) I did a short 10 minute search on the interweb and found no images of the folks that used to make these stone Agate marbles. (pretty intense) The old books still have quite an edge here on the interweb. I am far from an expert regarding “Hand Ground Stone Agates”. I do know that @bumblebeeis into them--@Fire --your post—lol and perhaps @akronmarbles. I am just rambling on now— If you have no Agates in your collection--get some! Lets see what others have to say. I just love this stuff! Here is an image of a bruiser Agate backlight--3/4". Those are all hit marks (moons) from play. Martble—On!!
  5. "All Reds"sounds right to me. Marble--On!!
  6. I would call it an Alley Agate. I looked hard--close but no cigar on the oxblood imho. All opinions are appreciated and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  7. Vitro imho. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  8. Pretty cool--Air force marbles? I agree with Ric here. Marble--On!!
  9. Good job! The first one that you reposted is quite nice. I have never seen one with these colors in such a large size. I want to call it an Aqua-Marine--but @Ric may know better. They are all Vitro imho. Nice marbles! Marble--On!!
  10. Yep! we just got spanked by Jason---your Fault Ric . You should know better Ric--nice marble by the way! (Thanks Jason--I will endeavor to be much better under these circumstances) Marble--On!!
  11. I am laying----😁 Thanks Cheese Down by my dish😁 Thanks Chad
  12. I am not the nit pickety either Ric.. Just talking CAC here😁. An old and hard thing to discuss in these times. Show me some CAC as an example. You know that I love your stuff--- Marble--On!!
  13. Size always matters. My first thought was "what a cool Pelt"--really---- a very cool Pelt. One of a kind! This is no Vitro---- What’s up Fire?? Show some more images on this one—many more Melissa. Lets call in @Chad G. here @cheese as well. I remember that cheese did not like this color combo--the regular one--white based--what about as clear based one?? No bubbles--clear based? This one needs some more attention--much more---!!! This is just a killer marble---one of one-- Lets get it on here!! Marble--On!!
  14. Agreed Ric--pretty nice base glass. The yellow??? hummm. Marble--On!!
  15. Well who could blame you Fire--not me--this one is just special. I do not know were I would fit it into a box--this one is just a stand alone--special! Marble--On!!
  16. Very nice colors! Marble--On!!
  17. Welcome Intuit! A blind person can tell a marble by touch, I am not calling you out as blind—just hear me out. Maybe not colors----but touch. I really do believe that @Chad G.or @Fire1981or @cheese or @Riccould touch a marble and ID it without any eyesight. Maybe not right on—but pretty close- @Melissa is getting right there as well as well as @Alan and the rest of the group here at “TheMarbleConnection”—too many to name really.( sorry if I counted you out) These collectable—marbles--- are easily ID’d by touch if that is what you seek and need. I can only imagine this but I think that I could do it if I needed to. I have often thought “what if I was blind” or visually impaired and who would help me in this endeavor. We here at “TheMarbleConnection” accept all, regardless of anyone that is visually disabled or has any other physical/mental impairment. We are all here to help with this great collectable as far as ID goes. If you accept perfection only—you are in the wrong place—if you accept a welcome—you are most accepted here. Marble—On for sure!!
  18. I see the marbles--but what is the wood below--very cool imho.
  19. I just love this stuff Fire--pretty cool!! Marble on!! They look good to me! Marble--On!!
  20. This is what counts--these images. The damage and as-made defects ID this one as a CAC for me. Never hide the defects and swallow your pride. The marble will speak for itself. Mint marbles are not a reality—except for once in awhile—a great while. A single seam, (all marbles have two seams or cut marks but some only show one) which is quite nice to find imho in any condition. The blow holes, the big long cut mark and the limited damage all line up with an original CAC imho. For some reason I do not remember “Diaper Fold” regarding this type of CAC. Help me out here fellow “MarbleConnectionMembers”. I respect all opinions and hope to see some more. Just show us what you have all —the good side along with the bad side. We are here to help with identification not judgment of condition or worth. This is a great marble—regardless of any damage. I just love this stuff!!! We all do here at “TheMarbleConnection” Marble—On!!
  21. I like this--just listen to what we have to say They do appear to be Vitro--but in a long shot like this only a marble fool would ID them. There are very few fools here @ "TheMarbleConnection". Get a better sharp image--crop them to be sharp and show us what you have. I just love this stuff!--Really I do!! Show us what you have and be definate. Marble--On!!
  22. Your images need better resolution and closer---more defined images. The two on the left need some more shots imho. Marble--On!!
