  1. NTS or "not too shabby"--nice marbles for sure!! The first one gets my clicks going---very nice finds --both of them. Marble--On!!
  2. Your images do not suck at all--just crop them a bit. This one is a WVS--no doubt--probably an Alley Agate. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  3. Just very nice images--very nice--Thanks for that. Just a "killer" Akro Slag. Marble--On!!
  4. What @Ric says for sure, Take these out in the sunlight and repost them--one looks "special". Marble--On!!
  5. X2 Vacor? Consider Champion here. Marble--On!!
  6. This is a cool one--measure up the images and give us some clearer images. I like this one--it does not look common to me. I think that @Ric has this one nailed. Nice marble--lets see some more of this one. Marble--On!!
  7. Show the box is my request--nice marbles! The box is even better. Marble--On!!
  8. I agree wth @Ric, The second one appears to be an Alley Agate with oxblood. The third one I think is a Vacor it reminds me of the "Swamp Thing Cateye" That Vacor made. The rest of your images are too dark for me to get involved with. You have it going here--just adjust and look before you post---- Marble--On!!
  9. I do not want to step in here--great discussion--keep it clean though. Naming individuals that you may not agree with has no point in this conversation. I know what the OG in this post is—a great marble—probably pre WW2. The “very early” Akros were slags. Nuff said. Marble—On!!
  10. Yep--they are both foreign imho. I think from some Asian country—not Mexico. They are nice marbles regardless of the ID—just not made in the good ole USA. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  11. Welcome Montina64 To "themarbleconnection". I wish you well in your endevour. Marble--On!!

    Muddie?

    Muddie for sure ---- Marble--on.
  13. Clean up the images and expect a good response. Marble--On!!
  14. Ummmm?? Marble--On!!
  15. This one is a Pelt all day long. @Fire1981 may have a name for it. Marble--ON!!!
  16. Vitro--both imho. Lets as @Melissa for a final eval. Marble--On!!
  17. It is a hard find--a true black marble. This one is dark blue but very cool. It is a WVS but I can not call it. @cheese has to be called in here. Marble--On!!
  18. Vacor---"Streamer" imho. Marble--On!
  19. Bing Videos Thanks for the link--I just love this banjo version of a Led Zepplin piece. Rock on
  20. Welcome curt to TheMarbleConnection. This is my best explanation. Any solid-colored marble that is found with iridescent qualities is more than likely made for the handmade crafts that are often sold at Flea markets or household sales regardless of the color involved and you will find them at the usual craft places. The iridescent qualities of these marbles is a worldwide thing and is sprayed on during the initial cooling while they are going down the rollers to be rounded. @Alan more than likely has a more involved description of this process and I will defer to him for a better explanation. Thanks for asking and of course--- Marble—On!!

    Vitro?

Yes it does have that vibe but at this size--it is more than likely a jabo--jabo made tons of little ones. Marble--On!!
  22. I consider this a good pass--the images are not enough--- Marble--On!!

    Master?

I would sort it as an Older Master--pretty cool imho. You can just feel the Master quality and hardness--they almost feel like stone in hand with your eyes closed. Now, I may be trippin here but The old Master Mades just feel different🤢. Whatever---Marble--On!!😇.
  24. This one is a Vitro. We all see the images online from the experts but the time that it takes to post and review images does not invlove "simpler versions". You may not find it in a book or in any Vitro Posts online--this is just the way. The colors and cutlines are Vitro---the yellow is a very good tell as well. A nice marble! Marble--On!!
  25. I would say no but I agree with @Fire1981's assesment. A clear base Bo is just that--clear based--no colors involved in the clear or transparent base color. These "salmon" colored ones seen to be a tad harder to find for me. This is a nice marble--thanks for sharing it. Marble--On!!
