Well this statement does not require an ID imho. But now that you are asking--the far right one is more than likely a Vitro. The left hand one and the middle one are Pelts. The other two are buried too much for an ID but I suspect Jabo. I hope that this helps-- Marble--On!!

This is a Patch type and they are hard to pin down for sure. I would say either a Master Made Marble or an Akro Agate--with a lean towards Master. More opinions are needed here for sure and I respect them all. Marble--On!!

Hmmm, the first one I am not sure of--maybe a Vitro. The rest--well, look to me like a mix of older and newer Marble Kings. @Melissa can give us a better idea for sure. Marble--On!!

M-M, You have to slow down here and give us the sizes and the images in order. You have some interesting marbles here and nice images as well. Crop them a bit more and keep the amount of marbles to two or three per post. Marble--On!!

Nice one! Probably a Jabo ("jaybo") Classic. The "Classic" part means from the factory and sold to the general public for sales in stores around the world. Nice Marble! Marble--On!!

Welcome to "TheMarbleConnection" my marble collecting friend. You are launching a new hobby that will take the stress off of the days behind you. When you research marbles and commit to the research you will become mesmerized by all of the different types and sizes. This is not an easy hobby but it is fun for sure. There are many older collectors here that share the wisdom that they have collected over the years. There just are just no dumb questions to be asked and nothing will surprise us. Like Chad said---show us what you have with no embarressment expected from anyone here. We do not judge--we just collect and share info. Marble--On!!! -
This is the one @7/8" that my wife found in the dryer---oooops--check those pockets people. Marble--On!!

Nice Rainbo--I just love to see this type. Nice marble!! Marble--On!!!

The first one is a swirl--a WVS or "West Virginia Swirl"--probably an "Alley Agate". The second one appears to be a slag with most of the white buried--probably an Akro Agate. The third is imho a Jabo "Classic" otherwise known as one made by the factory for general distribution. I always appreciate every opinion and hope to see some more No one "bugs"🪳 me here Meep. I am a bit surprised at no responses here. Yes, some weird color is involved but I am not afraid to be called out if this one is not an Alley Agate. I apreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. @cheese is busy wrapping packages and going to the Post Office with the new book that is being sold that Eddie and Kim Winningham along with Chuck produced. Maybe @cheese will check in for a break from the hastle? Marble--On!!

#1,2 and 7 are Vitro—maybe #5 as well. #4 and #6 are Peltier—not too Shabby! #3 is a Marble King—nice one! I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!

These are called “Frit” Marbles my marble collecting friend. The “Frit” was sprinkled on as the marble came onto the rollers while still very hot—and down the rollers to make them round. The only USA manufacturer that tried these was Vitro as far as I know. Vitro did not make many and they may have been an experiment. The Vitro are as rare as hens teeth and without proper and very deep history I would never purchase one. These are made all over planet Earth—pretty common and hard to tell apart from each other. Cool?—yep pretty cool—Collectible? That is up to the collector. Many Folks collect stamped or “imaged” marbles. I respect them as well. Marble—On!!

I would call the first one an Akro Slag. Marble--On!!

The first one is more than likely an Akro Slag. The second one is a slag in my world but is more commonly called a swirl—probably from a company such as “Alox”. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!

Jabo—pronounced as “Jaybo” was a company in itself, there is history here that I will not bore you with. There were “Special runs” that Jabo allowed under the supervision of Dave McCullough and others to make “Special Runs”. Dave then went on to produce “Daves Appalachian Swirls “or DAS. Dave is no longer with us here on Earth but no doubt, he is doing what he loved somewhere in the realm of things. The marbles do tend to resemble each other. The same master (Dave McCullough) was overseeing each name. Here is a link that may explain some more. https://www.westvirginiamarblecollectorsclub.com/das Marble—On!!

Yes, nice marble--Nice images as well! I would call it a Jabo--a "Classic" or one made by the factory to be sold to the general public. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!

There were a few--and still are, a few rascals that try to match a Peltier Superman. I think this is one of them. @Fire1981 may have an opinion here. Just my opinion---I do not see Vacor or Peltier here. Marble--On!!

This is the place to start—Welcome by the way, If I missed you previously, to “TheMarbleConnection”. The box is pretty nice imho. I believe that you have a "Moonie" box top and an Akro "Flintie" box bottom. Moonies and Flinties are sisters---they act the same but the Flinties have a few more colors involved regarding the marbles. The "Flinties" boxes are greenish--the "Moonies" boxes were blueish. You do know how to shine a Moonie—the last image--good job! I am glad to see that neither you nor your father attempted any repairs on the box. Leave it alone, keep it out of the sunlight and enjoy it for years to come. A #1 sized marble is 11/16”. You can find them if you bring a good strong light along with you when hunting. The Christensen Agate Company also made marbles very close to the Akro Agate types—this may be splitting hairs though. I am glad to see this box posted here and very happy to see that you want to keep it. I just love this stuff!! Marble—On!!

I will always take a stab@ ID--this one is a USA made WVS. Marble--On!
