  1. Auger is like a solid drill bit down the center of the marble. This one seems to have somewhat of a hole down the cneter - therefore not an auger.
  2. That last bag is in great condition and has the "instructions" stapled on. The price is at the high end of the range that I would pick.
  3. Not a Rooster. Jabo does make sense (cents - just popped to mind as I was typing sense...LOL)
  4. The $227.50 bag of 100 does seem high. Maybe someone thought (knows) that they saw a valuable P&R in there - like a Watermelon? - but I don't see anything that would pump it up that high. However, the bag of 100, which is not rare but is not easy to find. I sold one, as part of a group, in the $50 - $75 range.
  5. Starting from smaller one on left you have 3 clays, Peltier Rainbo, maybe a Slag, another clay, Bennington, patch?, Bennington, MK, ?, ?, Bennington at the top.
  6. Agree on oxblood. Just make sure to closely look at condition so that you get Mint ones.
  7. Here is a pic of my Confetti bag. Also, here is Pete's decription from his Mega spreadsheet - Single-color, 6 vane cat's-eyes in assorted colors. Iridescent finish.
  8. I haven't seen any nor do I have any saved pictures of any.
  9. With those seams, not a corkscrew in my opinion.
  10. Packaging has more value than the marbles. I did not see any valuable marbles in the packages. The bumblebees in the first are the only "named" ones. I wish Gerald Witcher could get his book published. He has a ton of information on the dates, headers, etc. from MK as well as the marbles, history and more. The Gladding-Vitro bag is between 1969 and 1982 when Gladding owned Vitro. Others are generally from the 60's, maybe late 50's on the Rainbows.
  11. The marble shown is a common foreign - usually Japanese or other Far East - 6 vane cat's-eye. This one is a white cross-thru as only the white vanes are across from each other. The other vanes for the color "v" on each side.
  12. I do hope you heal quickly and fully. Enjoy marble collecting!
  13. Agree, not an Akro corkscrew. Could go with an Alley but...?
  14. Not sure - here is bag of them
  15. Hmmmm, maybe a WVS - Alley?
  16. Slag makes more sense. In a wirepull, you can follow the "wire" or ribbon around inside the marble and it doesn't merge with itself or "smear", etc.
