  1. Could be. I thought the crockery marbles we attributed to the Standard Toy and Marble Company from Akron as well. Now I'm curious! Hopefully someone else with knowledge can chime in.
  2. As far as I'm aware the American Marble and Toy Company mid 1890s created what's known as Akron roller type clay marbles that look like the picture attached. I can't say who made your marble.
  3. This is my favorite. It's got some debris trapped in the bubble that I can see rattle around inside.
  4. My best friend Dexter. My daughter dresses him up and he loves the attention.
  5. X2 polymer clay. You can even see the impression of a palm/finger print in the photo showing the crack
  6. Man if there was a little bit of green with that color blue I'd be calling it a parrot but I'm with @akroorka on this with an "All Red".
  7. So in the past I had a couple people tell me these were Vitro. @Ric mentioned that they might be Akro patch of sorts. I really like these marbles so I wanted to revisit the identification. I'd appreciate others input. They measure just under 11/16".
  8. Whatever it is I like the colors. Nice.
  9. So this a trait to look out for in larger size Pelts? Did this have to do with the shear or rollers shifting the pattern on the larger sizes?
  10. I appreciate everyone's input. I thought it was a Pelt but wanted to get some verification. Some of those Vacors can be sneaky!!
  11. Is this big guy Peltier or a Vacor imposter? Measures just under 7/8"
  12. I scored this guy today at a yardsale. Right around 5/8". Alley?
  13. Thanks for everyone's input on this one. I love when a marble you think is a Jabo is really something more interesting!
  14. It does have some similarities to the sweet potato to my eye
  15. Not much value. Most collectors wouldn't be interested
  16. That's kinda where I was leaning with these but I also remember seeing some champions with similar colors
